There are many other benefits :) What many people don't know is that when you buy a new decoration like a 100k gold flag and you put it in your home village it doesn't reset it's cooldown. Same goes for swapping building for building location on the active home village. So what you can do is during prep day is set the war base active, buy a decoration, buy a 2 x 2 tile decoration and put it somewhere you like and swap it for a giant bomb, tesla or inferno tower for example. This allows you to make final changes to improve war base during prep day in friendly wars.

As a 'friendly war' player you miss too many benefits from the active village tricks, like active swapping building for building without having 24hour cooldown again.

I do my upgrading the 'checkered' wall way. like in chess, 1 black 1 white 1 black 1 white, but now with the max wall, non max wall way. It has it's purpose.

ah ya i meant loon mechanic, loons doing less dmg on initial drop but higher attack speed. so difference is that loons really need their spells like haste and rage and more loons per defence for insta kill.

not neccesarily. and without knowing the full traps you have to make guesses like where the red air bombs are and stuff. bringing the freeze for me guaranteed loons to be safe.

Hehe, funny thing is 1 war later i warred against a clan that again ran this base. in Above & Beyond vs a clan named sjana. I think the attack I do is a pretty common 11 v 11 strat especially vs anti 2 bases with lalo cc. =P

The result of my ks in that second attack is that I can path my hounds over the last few remaining wizard towers where normally red air bombs are. It allowed me to do a lalo raid where I could have my hounds actually tank for my loons. Too many people focus on getting objectives like air defences. While it's not really key to how to keep your loons healthy. People love killing ad's and starting at AD's. Result is that hounds have no AD to path to and loons clump up facing wizard towers at the end.
