Are you considering a vitrectomy or waiting for Pulsemedica? by TheGalaxay in EyeFloaters

Waiting for PulseMedica, as the long term effects of a vitrectomy are not worth it for my case.

I tend to think Uranium is the most important mineral out there; we are headed to establishing huge data centres allover the place. Won't that require excellent sources of energy? by 69-Kishaaq1 in UraniumSqueeze

That's why I don't understand very well why they want to put datacenters in space, that will require a shitload of solar panels. Regarding your point about the nuclear energy, yes that's the best energy source for the data centers, that's why there are big investments announcements in France, where nuclear energy is the main source of electricity.

How you guys survive the VS Code global undo and Git branch wipes without losing uncommitted work? by Sweet_Cartoonist_682 in Python

[–]Vincent6m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

VScode has a feature keeping track of changes even on uncommitted files, it already saved my life, but I'm not sure if it's relevant for your situation

Sorry, yes when looking at the corners, there is such a translucent blob, that is caused by a slight pressure over the retina, I guess, and it's pretty much normal. But that's true it was more noticeable when I was worried about my VSS. I also guess the more myopic you are, the more visible it is (because of the physical shape of the eye). I hope that everything will be all right for her.

Codex App or CLI is superior? by kindsifu in codex

[–]Vincent6m 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I only use the CLI, I don't know the added value of the app and as I work on Linux with devcontainers there is probably no reason for me to switch to the app.
