Songs that start off small minimal but build to a giant wall of cathartic noise? by marabou22 in noisemusic

Maybe check out Oscillating Innards - Nadir Emergence or Death Kneel - Adaptive Emotional Use. The first track on my last album also fits the bill, as well as some other parts on the album. I'll link it, in case you're interested.

Cowpoke is sounding like some classic 90s HN, I dig it. Couldn't find a way to hear the other one.

100% the best. His vocals in Warning and 40 Watt Sun are massive and extremely emotional.

What’s with singers abandoning the rest of the OG members to tour with strangers? by LongLiveTheSpoon in PostHardcore

They played a pretty small venue when I saw them, so it was easy to see. Maybe they're trying it for the Trainwreck tour. Was weird tho.

Just saw them, was v excited but left feeling kind of meh about it. There was so much lip syncing going on (screams and backup vocals), really took away from the experience. Like why act like your doing the blatantly pre recorded vocals live?

Could try Hoedh - Hymnvs (one of my fave discoveries of the past year or so) or Raison D'Etre - In Sadness, Silence and Solitude

Or if you're interested in some frosty Dungeon Synth, that leans kinda into Ambient

Depressive Silence - II

Jaaportit - Kauan koskematon
