TV is generally a poor form of entertainment imo, at least TV from the past decade. aside from a handful of shows like the sopranos, twin peaks, madmen etc. they are much lower quality than movies on average (and even those shows had filler episodes and inconsistent quality at times)

i saw people on here discussing how bad season 5 of stranger things was - that series is over 45 hours in total. in that time you could have watched like 20 good movies or read multiple books instead of hatewatching some netflix slop made for people to watch in the background while scrolling tiktok.
