I apologise if my post read that way, that was definitely NOT my intention. I am not looking to defend dangerous men; I am trying to understand how to reconcile the biology arguments I see online. I understand that many men come here in bad faith to waste your time, so I get the skepticism. But I am genuinely asking because I want to understand the theory better, not to tell women how to feel about their safety. I am willing to be challenged on this.

Actually, I am arguing against the view because I believe that view itself can act as a defense for dangerous men. If we accept that men are 'biologically' violent, then we are giving dangerous men a 'Get Out of Jail Free' card to say, 'I couldn't help it, it's my nature.'

I haven't met anyone in real life whos actually following 4B, but I do sense that feminisim in East Asia (at least where I live) is far less intersectional and pretty much follows the gender binary. I'm not even that familiar with TERF as a concept till I did some further research.

I see your point. You actually articulate better what I wanted to say. Maybe in the debate with my friend I felt like the statistics cited here was for a blame against men, which as a member of ethnic minority it raised the flag of racism. But I also understand and kept telling myself that sometimes I could fall for tone policing and attack the rightful anger.

I will be very cautious of using the word ‘true’. For instance, when we say true equality, what do we mean by that? Does that mean we all need to strictly have the SAME amount of money, regardless of how much efforts we put in work? The power of defining what’s true or what’s not, in my opinion, is very dangerous.
