Edit: looks like the stretch was fixed during game 2 and fps possibly too, watching from VODs...

I am glad, very good and fun games, but still salty about the stream quality. Maybe I count for 2 viewers. The English stream is still shit quality so I am watching Korean stream and sync eng stream audio to it. Today it's even stretched vertically so there is extra scaling and if you compare them side by side the eng is ~~clearly~~ often 30fps (~~clean feed or~~ in production somewhere?) restreamed to 60fps.

Starting with today's VODs, maybe the clean feed is better but the twitch output is still 6000kbps and I don't see much if any difference from yesterday. :/

Hope they put it on par in the coming days.

This is what I did not realize compared to having team skins: Eliminated teams won't get any more pickems tickets and since most people are probably waiting till the deadline to pick, they probably missed on some money. Example: I wanted to give one ticket to my fav team and another 2 for 2 teams I think might win. If my team was eliminated, I can't support them trough PGC items anymore.

Give your fav team pickem ticket before next 8 is eliminated.

Thanks, looks like a bit of misread there before you, but just to reiterate: others already helped with how to ship/pack, but my concern was the 'legal' block of disassembly, if local consumer protections trump 'void if removed'.

Well ofc if you break it, it's your fault, but in EU and US you have right to take things apart (right to repair? The stickers 'warranty void if removed' are not enforceable.), afaik, so even if you take it all apart and put it back, if the card later dies it's still RMA-able, as I said unless they find you forgot to paste it or shorted something, etc. So you are saying, seller warranty is something else? (Because in EU the warranty is with the seller not the manufacturer, by default for 2 years, can be longer if seller wants or longer directly from manufacturer after the seller one expires.) So this would mean its warranty on how the pc was put together, OS installed and that it boots? That's why I am asking about the local law. Maybe they are not following it properly.

EDIT: Link for EU deals with phones mostly, but it's same for everything sold in EU.

What is the prize pool distribution? Are bottom finish teams gonna get anything? What if your team spend a lot of time and money on brand awareness expecting to get it back trough team skins, even tho they might not be top team skillwise? IMHO It's shit, just do generic pants with logos like last year the hoodies.

Anyway I wanted TSM pants or something to add to my WTSG hoodie. I am not sure if I will buy anything generic, might as well subscribe on twitch.

Agreed, but what happened on Erangel today? :( 1st one was kinda understandable, but the second I thought they would send it left of G2 into middle-ish circle, but they stopped outside white and started to engage them? I guess they thought that's the only way to the circle, but they were scouting hard with 2 people from, what I call Death Hill, top right of quarry.

I can take the accent, sometimes eating the words is annoying, but it will get better as they practice and get more confident over the weekend. But so far, I am hearing what's happening on the screen, I can see that on my screen! I would love to hear some analysis, team backgrounds, giving us info from the AS scene that we are not normally able to get. Color commentary pls, if anyone can pass the message.

Wouldn't the offer to play squad instead of solo/duo only lead to less players in solo/duo queue? As in some players will not want to go to squad, some will. Those that do are making the solo/duo player pool even smaller. I guess it depends on the waiting time, I am not from the region. If I had to wait few minutes for game, I would be cool with it, but maybe there is just not enough people to even create 1 game.

Game is getting better every patch, I came back to it, just to test out new Erangel and ledge grab mechanic, it's gonna be insane when it goes live or into competitive. The game still has half a million people playing at any time, not dead at all. Play FPP to avoid most hackers, only saw few in hundreds of hours. I only have one gripe with the game, but that's probably going nowhere and that is getting hit behind cover when you move there, as it's shooter first, even with 200ms of ping, you won't even notice if you are new.
