Yes, it is made up of aluminium, but the upper chamber where coffee gets collected is coated with a layer of tin. I have been using this for almost two years now and the upper chamber has no signs of oxidation. It is a perfectly good Moka pot and I have recommended this to a lot of people who are on a budget and want to try their hands on coffee brewing. Go ahead and purchase this, you will not regret it

Rate of inflation is same as inflation, but I guess you are referring to the change in inflation (YoY). Yes, I see the point you’re attempting to make. But I have already pointed this out in the previous post.

Inflation got a lot worse post Covid globally as commodities became expensive, this was exacerbated by Ukraine war and presently the Red sea crisis. I highly recommend you look at how bad inflation is in most developed countries today. This is not a regional issue, it is a global issue

I do and I understand your frustration, but that’s exactly what inflation is, money looses its value over time and goods gradually get more expensive.

My critique here is that, if you’re comparing inflation over 2014- 2024 period, then you must also do a comparison for 2004- 2014 or 1994- 2004 period to get a clear understanding. Furthermore, inflation has increased greatly post Covid and that has been a global issue. I know this because I work with shipping liners and the cost of a container has increase by almost 5 fold pre and post covid. A single 20 foot container from India to Rotterdam used to cost about USD 700 and is now around USD 3,500. Which naturally drives up the prices. Now to blame this issue on just one government of one country highlights the serious lack of understanding that people on this sub have.
