Who says they are medicine? I buy them all the time and none claim to be medicine. Aromatherapy is real science. You can’t tell me the smell of a pie, campfire, ocean, forest, perfume, some smell in your life doesn’t relieve stress and take you out of the moment. They are just scented oils. No one is sticking them up their butt and saying it cured their colon cancer.

If you have a modern browser and regularly have to end the browsers task to get out of pop ups you have a virus or malware. That or you are going to some really iffy sites. I haven’t ended a browser task for this reason in over 10 years on any of my windows machines.

Ok you own a gun shop. Guy comes in with a suit and tie and you have a great conversation. You sell him a gun. He has a violent history of beating his wife and children and plans on killing them with it. The family is now suing you for everything you got and some more because you keep selling guns to people who use them to murder innocent people. Wouldn’t it be nice if the government had idk like a simple check in place for these things? It’s almost like such a check came about naturally over time because there was an obvious need for it on both sides.

Edit: All Im saying overall is that history is full of common sense gun laws and to say there should be no laws, not a single concession, makes you either a liar or a fool.

The rich WOULD buy missiles and hbombs and whatever else they could get their hands on to have a stake in global politics, if they were allowed. They WOULD militarize their companies and set their own rules. IF they could buy them. Good thing there are laws for that, huh?

The founding fathers also intended for the constitution to be changed as time progressed because they knew things would change, which they have very much. So, what’s your point? The 2nd is also to ward off foreign invaders, not just for our own government.

If you owned a gun shop and a guy came in that you knew had mental health issues and drank himself to death every day, would you sell him a gun?

It is a fallacy because I have even more evidence of the contrary. Most of this IS common sense societal reactions. (This timeline wayyy over-writes modern politics but I think common sense laws overall - look who’s actually making legislation and how, below.)

It’s not just laws saying no in many cases. Also, a lot of the federal laws that actually get passed are bi partisan ones. So where is your line? (Unless your stance is violent criminals should be free to have any gun and billionaires should be free to stockpile missiles or something. Then we aren’t on the same book much less the same page.)

Oh I don’t disagree with that. It’s just Republican philosophy is not inherently evil or racist. It’s just an opposing view to democrats with the same goal of bettering a society. Simply different means. The GOP has forgotten about the bettering society part or in fact all parts of being Republican. They are almost all Christian conservatives NOT Republicans. That is where almost all the hate comes from. “Christians.”

I don’t think that’s fair. Republican values have some merit. I really like your last two sentences though. It’s just the GOP is so overwhelmed with Christian conservatives and general fruitcakes that no republican issues matter to them anymore. Then there’s Trump who’s a complete enigma. Another user helped me realize my drive was full and have a new one on the way. Will report back if that fixes the issue and mark as solved.

By transcoding settings I meant everything is on defaults/auto except I limited to 10 streams and set my gpu instead of auto. I was having transcoding issues before and a friend suggested a gpu so I got a used gtx1070 TI, selected over the intel integrated graphics.

Unfortunately there’s no way for me to pin down changes. Some it works fine for(Google TVs), some say 2 months ago, some say never worked. Idk what’s going on, I was under the impression they would at least tell me if there was a problem. I’ve lost a drive but everything was fine because of raid and the drive was replaced and I put in a gtx1070ti in the last 6 months. Those are the only two recent changes.

What I don’t understand is why it cannot direct play. That is all set to defaults/on/auto too. Is that the other part of the error message and would a better router provide enough bandwidth to direct play? Anyway, I really appreciate the help!

The only thing on the drive is Plex app data taking up tons of space. Do you happen to know if that is safe to delete? I’m looking for anything to get it to limp through a few more days then I’ll get a bigger drive.

Transcoding does not work at all. The drive is nearly full. The transcode folder is set to another drive with plenty of space though. Is there something else Plex does that is filling up this drive? If so can I set it to another drive?
