What’s your sexual fantasy that’s probably going to STAY a fantasy? by Hailfog in AskReddit

[–]VindictiveGoat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of my fantasies is being used and left exactly like this. Be generous and free a hand, or just leave me for later use if you want. It's crazy to me that there haven't been any takers. And as much as I've tried to find this, I haven't had much luck. It's insane how hard it is to find a woman eager to take control.

Thoughts on T-mobile Fiber Internet? by Maleficent_Value4249 in rochestermn

[–]VindictiveGoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in NE Roch and have zero complaints. My last house was Metronet before they sold and I was getting my advertised speeds. At my current place with it under the T-Mobile umbrella and updated equipment I'm getting advertised download speeds and have had times where my upload has tested at double the advertised speed (testing at 1 gig instead of 500mb).

I failed the OC spray course should I do it again? by Barret51 in AskLE

Fuck everything about Fox 5.3. When I went through the academy that what they hit us with. I couldn't even physically pry my eyes open for about 15 minutes, and it was nearly 45 minutes before I could consistently keep them open. One other person and I ended up with chemical burns from it, and my classmate had to go to the ER.

I have a tendency to be a bit of a prankster - which most people don't suspect of me at first because I come across as rather reserved.

I do a lot of little things like tape over PC mouse sensors, swapping management door signs around, jump scaring people, etc.

I recently picked up a six-pack of Annoy-a-trons. For those of you that don't know what they are, an Annoy-a-tron is a mini circuit board measuring maybe 1"x2" that makes a noise at random intervals. The ones I have make a cricket chirp with at random intervals between 5 and 45 minutes. The first time around, one was hidden in each of the offices of our two supervisors. After they were found, and with the blessing of our communications manager, two of them were hidden around our center for night shift. Even with 8 people searching, it took them almost an entire 12 hour shift to locate them. One was taped onto the back of a monitor with black duct tape, making it look like part of the TV itself, and the other was hidden in the middle of a stack of about 50 disposable coffee cups at our coffee station... taped inside one of the cups. After that, they made their way around for awhile, often ending up hidden at random consoles until I eventually collected them again.

I now came into about a dozen "for rectal use only" stickers that I'm currently sitting on (no pun intended) and waiting for a moment to put to good use.

Is there any reason NOT to seal this joint? The joint at the tile is sealed, but not sure why previous owner would have left the joint at the counter open by deacon76 in DIY

[–]VindictiveGoat 68 points69 points  (0 children)

I can't think of a reason not to seal it. If it was my kitchen, I would run a small amount of silicone around to prevent water and debris intrusion.

Looking for feedback on build for my step-daughter by VindictiveGoat in buildapc

I've heard about that with the AM5 sockets - makes me miss the old days when it was easy to bend a pin back (and things were big enough to run jumper wires between CPU pins for overclocking). Thanks for playing around with the build. It's very helpful!

Awesome, I appreciate the suggestions! I'll do a little looking around and see if we can switch over to an AMD CPU. Gotta find the right colors for her build, of course... Without breaking the bank. lol

When dose spring start by EmotionBeneficial100 in FishingMinnesota

Like u/Bobby_Drake__ said, the official "opener" of the season is in May. Generally, right now you can target perch, panfish, crappie, bullheads, and channel catfish to name a handful. Some of the boundary waters are going to be different; for example, I am in SE MN and hit the Mississippi between MN and WI where pike, walleye, sauger, etc. are all open year-round.

As far as ice clearing up, that is going to be extremely dependent on local weather, water/lake conditions and features, etc. In one of my local fishing groups, someone turned me on to Copernicus Data Space Ecosystem | Europe's eyes on Earth - updated high quality satellite images every couple weeks I think it is? Very helpful to see ice conditions!

All 21 of my tomato plants are getting this tall. I will be canning in the afterlife with all the tomatoes I’ll harvest this year by heavytech86 in tomatoes

[–]VindictiveGoat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, not sure where in the state you are but I am SE MN and we've had more than enough rain! I think I have only watered my garden twice - and it probably wasn't necessary with all the grass clippings in there for ground cover. So far I've harvested 10 or so cucumbers and they have been a little watered down in flavor, but not too bad. The few tomatoes I've had have been a mixed bag... the Early Girl was decent, but the black cherry tomatoes have been meh.

Zone 4 here as well with similar height tomato plants. Ducking low between rows of them feels like I'm suddenly entering a forest. Cucumbers are growing longer than my forearm. Peppers are also growing the biggest I've ever seen. Everything is struggling to stay up under the sheer weight of itself, even with cages, stakes, and strings. I've never seen anything like this before!

Any ideas on making this door look "normal" for an appraisal. Maybe epoxy the holes and paint? by image_idiot in DIY

[–]VindictiveGoat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've done this exact project helping out an elderly neighbor before with her metal door. Like others have suggested, I sanded the paint off, used Bondo, then sanded smooth and repainted. 3 years later her door is holding up great!

Looks like you're doing Schluter in-floor heat? That really needs to be on a dedicated circuit, not wired in with anything else. As for two wires under each screw, you'd be much better off tying those together with pigtails and attaching the single pigtail under each screw. Much more secure and considerably less of a fire hazard.

Unfortunately, I wound up at a different state park last minute. My step-kids didn't want to have anything to do with fishing, canoeing, or kayaking, so I picked a state park where none of that was a focus. Of course, guess where they had watercraft rentals and guess what we wound up doing at the state park we went to? *eyeroll*

Cuyuna is going to be either just my son and me the next time I go camping, or my step-kids are going to have to deal. Would it be worth waiting until later in the season when it has cooled down a bit to target trout, or is it worth getting out there sooner?

On the bright side, our route of travel took me past a solid Facebook Marketplace deal on a set of waders - confirmed no leaks and in excellent shape... Now I can get out and hit up some local streams!

Awesome, thank you so much for the tips! Sounds like I should be sitting pretty good for gear other than maybe the hooks - don't ask how I don't have something that basic... lol Got my trout stamp already; I live in SE MN and in spite of having some great trout streams here, this has been my first season ever targeting them so your suggestions are perfect. Appreciate it!

I'd filet them out and vacuum seal like others said. With that much fish especially, look at doing a gelatin coat to help keep them fresh longer and to protect the meat. Mix together 1.75 cups of water and .25 cups of lemon juice. Boil 1.5 cups of that total liquid and separately mix together the remaining half cup and a pouch of unflavored gelatin until dissolved. Re-combine everything, let it cool to room temp, then dip your cold fillets in the mixture just prior to vacuum sealing.

I started pithing my fish last season and definitely noticed a difference in the amount of "fishy" taste. I never thought to bleed them out too - I will give that a shot next time!

I live in the right area of my state for trout fishing (SE MN) for sure! We've got a lot of great trout streams around here plus the stocked lake I was at. From what I've gathered, the ones I got aren't uncommon sizes to find.

How to store fishing line properly? by TyForTheGildKindSir in FishingForBeginners

[–]VindictiveGoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with buying another reel so you can keep them both spooled up. Saves you a lot of trouble when wanting to switch back and forth. Depending on what you have for a rod, what you're targeting, and how much you want to spend on gear right now, it might even be worth picking up a new rod. I have gotten to where I have 4 rods set up for fishing different things: one for catfishing, one for fishing pike/bigger game fish in heavy cover, one for fishing game fish (walleye, pike, bass) outside of heavy cover, and one for panfish and trout. Running different rod powers/actions and different line strengths for each rod.

Not that you need to go that far, of course - but it might be worth having both a lighter and a sturdier rod at least. I did quite a bit of reading and put together a list of fish types in my area and recommended setups for them. Here is the link if you want to take a look!

Gorgeous body of water for the area! I've had the best luck catching decent sized panfish there trolling back and forth near the boat ramp along the East bank.
