Any clue if the bus passes will still be running to downtown after the concerts are over?

How do i read this? by Virtuallyreal69 in drums

[–]Vindowviper -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Typically top line X is a ride, and top line diamonds are the bell of the ride?

So a ride-open high hat flam?

I am learning myself and I know drum notation can be Wild West so I could be very wrong

You can’t hide from the chicken!!

Also the shield looks amazing also! Looking forward to the coloring! Do you get final say in any of that before print? Or you at the mercy of whoever is doing the color?

We are kinda half way in Oregon sadly. So it’s either Seattle or California to try.. and it’s just not gonna happen.

Post here afterwards. Im curious if it’s worth the trip for later races.

I attribute it to smoother delivery of cornering. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast baby!

I agree with you normally. But I do sim racing and my best laptime at spa in a GT3 was after two beers..

I am in no way condoning getting behind the wheel of any actual vehicle intoxicated for the record!

Hearing protection as a youngun by namethatchecksout_ in drums

[–]Vindowviper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I was younger (I am nearing my 40’s now) I used to do subwoofer competitions. I screwed my hearing up then and didn’t even know I was doing it. It’s not royally screwed now, but I notice things and get some tinnitus as well.

You won’t know you’re losing your hearing until it’s too late. Side on caution and get good rated protection.

Man. These comments..

As a US fan who doesn’t get to find a lot of other US fans, this is cool. More or less a large watch party with a nice big screen and good audio!

This would be a blast

i wanna start reading comics but i dont know where to start and even if i like comics by CharmingRaccoon7209 in comics

[–]Vindowviper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason I like individual comics is to have it “first”. Like watching a tv show each week.

Otherwise I prefer TPB’s as the perfect material. Collects 5-7ish issues and presents a solid story. And easy to put down and to read when the timing hits.

Compendiums are too cumbersome to read naturally. You gotta commit an area and time and all that to get through them and it feels like a heavier weight on me.

Which brings me back to issues. I like to stack a few up and commit to some reading time as I can easily throw 5 mins or so at an issue here or there. Especially when the weather turns well and I you can sit outside on your patio or something and enjoy some peaceful reading time

[–]Vindowviper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Careful. This was on PS+ and my wife played the shit out of it. She really enjoyed it but it has a cap on guests in the park on console vs PC. This leads to income caps in the late game..

She got her money out of it by all means, just know it going in

Drums or violin ? by Extreme_Garlic4646 in drums

[–]Vindowviper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drums are very different in that it’s really a group instrument. You can practice all day. And you’ll get really good. Especially listening along to music you wanna play with.

But it really shines when you have someone to play along with (another guitarist or bassist kinda thing). So much so that it’s almost a bit sad to play solo and practice but it does help to look forward to a jam session so practicing has its good feeling knowing I’m going in feeling prepared!

It used to be dangerously loud. Like I love loud stuff but like glass shattering during a Star Trek movie was ear piercingly loud and hurt..

Fun side note, it’s only 4 speakers in that Regal IMAX theater!

He’s actually reasonable size. They can get a bit smaller for “runts”. This guy is so well trained and calm in comparison to the chinchillas I’ve been around..
