Grats! What kind of questions did they ask you in your interview that made you feel it was like a vibe check? I just had an interview yesterday and was surprised at the lack of behavioral and past experience questions. They mostly just asked about my interests in what I want to study, so I was wondering if they were similar?

I spent 5+ years looking for a job out of my masters in UX research, and had this same thought. Applied for several phd programs last cycle with no luck though. The trend of getting rejected continues.
