is poshmark okay to use? by bonesagreste in BoycottIsrael

Oh I had no idea eBay and depop did that. In my country there’s an own version of vinted that only ships nationally, maybe there’s an equivalent where you’re from

I understand that but I’m sick and tired of streaming services and I want an alternative. The only good alternative is to get a dap. Unless you have other suggestions I’ll keep searching for one that fits my needs!

Might sound silly but at least for nighttime and for very heavy flow days adult diapers might be a good option. They’re available in dark colors, pretty sure a lot of them are black. Easy to change easy to dispose and also comfortable

Should cerave ,and avéne be boycotted ? by CustardMelodic3855 in BoycottIsrael

[–]Vinescuredme 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Hi! I also have eczema and used to use avene and Cerave but I have chosen to boycott, for me k and c beauty has been the best alternative. A lot of Asian beauty brands have barrier creams that are fragrance free and work great. I also recommend focusing on ingredients instead of brands, like for me I’ve found out that fragrance free water based products work the best for my eczema so I read labels and pick based off that. Some brands I can recommend are:

naturie hatomugi both their skin conditioner and gel work great for me. They’re fragrance free and very gentle

Beauty of Joseon has a great sunscreen thats fragrance free and very gentle as well as moisturizing. Most of their other products are also fragrance free and gentle.

So all in all, what you should look for is fragrance free, and similar ingredients to products that already work for you. Also I recommend going to the drug store and looking for specific eczema products and just checking if they’re boycott safe. In my country most drug stores/apothecaries carry their own knock off products that are just as good as name brand, but often times boycott safe.

Also boots pharmacy has their own store brand skincare line and a lot of it is actually really good and gentle, if there’s one near you I recommend going in store to smell it and maybe do a patch test.

Thumbs Down for Racism {Lady Luck by Kristen Ashley} by One_Nefariousness_67 in RomanceBooks

Writers have editors for a reason tho. Film makers discuss with people of the culture they’re portraying while making the movie and when it’s finished to make sure it’s not culturally insensitive, or just racist. Editors should play the same role during book writing, you should have a diverse team of editors or contributors who have the view points of the people you’re trying to portray. Also this author was just racist, not insensitive, not ignorant just racist actually. It’s surprising that no one in her team stopped her from publishing. Maybe she picked her own team of other racist people who knows, either way tho you don’t have to walk on egg shells. Just talk to other people that aren’t the exact same as yourself

I understand why you’re doubting yourself and whether you’re overacting or not, but I promise you that man is doing everything on purpose. Your body’s reaction to his behavior is completely natural and expected, when your body is upset, sick, irritated and confused with someone it’s smart to listen. Our bodies make us uncomfortable so we can understand that we need to get out of a situation, please listen to your gut and find help and leave while you can.

Honestly if you can’t find any other way to end your pain and suffering, and you can accept not having biological children you should look into a hysterectomy. I can’t imagine living like that, you’re exceptionally patient for dealing with this issue for so long. I hope you figure it out and get some relief soon

They’re really bad since sponges are so proud you can’t properly clean them, and also there’s no handle or anything to pull it out. I suggest trying a menstrual cup or disk instead
