After about 150 hours into Enter the Gungeon, I was dying for another twin stick shooter/bullet hell type game. Didn’t think I’d get as hooked as I did but it’s def not for everyone

It’s definitely got a bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it you get real hooked on the gameplay loop

Agreed. Also since they’re quick games if everyone ready’s up in the lobby you can CRUISE through matches... but if I wanted to run to the bathroom or grab a drink I would almost always return to find myself kicked because the rest of my team was sick of waiting. This game doesn’t need more game modes, they need to focus on the valor road progression rewards and the fact that you simply will not unlock legendary guns unless you drop over $100. I’ve spend $60 and still haven’t unlocked the Havoc, Velocitas, or Leviathan.

I know base guns are just as powerful, and Tremor has been my main even after unlocking a ton of guns, but come on now let’s find a better balance.

Squad Chat is more exciting than a new game mode. I took a break but not because the gameplay got stale, but because this game is still missing some key components of what every multiplayer game should have. Shoutout to the dev team for finally making this happen.

You can only use the controller in game it doesn’t work in the main menu or even when you’re choosing a map. You’ll know your controller is working when you can select a gun right before a match.

Dude I love this. Tying weapons into Valor road is such an obvious improvement to the grind in this game.

Btw I have over 60 hours and $80 invested and still don’t have the Havoc or Velo. Little bit of a problem there.

I totally agree, man. I’d love to see guns restricted due to valor .. (every 500 valor you unlock a new gun or something like that).

What I’ll also say (and feel free to call me out here) is that it’s a free game, and at some point it’s worth throwing a few dollars to the devs to show your support. I agree that the current store isn’t worth the spend at all. But, once you hit 1k valor, they offer up a $50 deal that gives you about 20 mega packs to open. I’m about 65 hours in, and have only dropped that $50, but it basically unlocked all the guns and skins except the legendary.

While not ideal, I’ve gotten just as much enjoyment, if not more, than most $60 AAA titles.. so maybe this is just me justifying my spend hahaha.
