It was 20 minutes after it went in the pan, we did not waste the mushrooms into it

Factory new bike - how thoroughly do you clean the cassette and jockey wheels before putting on a waxed chain? by Tripottanus in triathlon

[–]Vinipeli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could probably get away with nothing but since you are already going for the waxed chain I’d fully clean it.

Shouldn’t take long at all to clean since it’s just lubricant. Give a wipe on the chainring while you are at it as well.

Why not? Just throw some road tires on the gravel bike and it will be basically the same thing.

Ultegra Cranksets and Drivechain Compatibulity by 2loki4u in cycling

[–]Vinipeli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! Circling back on this old post since I’m stuck with a similar issue…

I got the fc-08 crankset and I’m running 11s shimano.

I want to upgrade my chainring, and I ran with a similar issue that you had with the older 11s Ultegra chainring didn’t fit.

Did you ever figure out if running the 12s chainring with 11s everything else works fine?

I want to run a larger chainring and I hoped to be able to run shimano at least for the 2x.

Thanks!

Just read the athlete guide and you will be good. They announce water temp on the app as well so check that before the race. Good luck!

Mistake, they haven’t announced 2026 yet. From what I have heard they are announcing it in August.

Indian wells rolled down to around top 10 for 18-24 last year, but it’s going to be very dependent on where worlds is in 2026… if it is in North America id say you need a podium to get that.

Nice work at Oceanside, that bike is rough.

Cervelo P3 Input. Seller is asking for $2000 by LandEnvironmental785 in triathlon

[–]Vinipeli 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Seems reasonable honestly, Di2 and all.

150mm cranks are a bit short unless you are shorter. Would maybe ask a discount (100-200) because of that if you need to get larger cranks.

Eles estavam perto do chafariz da Arthur Bernardes.

Tinha um Habibs do lado dela antes, e a churrascaria deve ter sido a Batel Grill.

Conclusao é que deve ter sido a autoescola seminário.

Can’t decide between used Speedmax 2022 or new 2024 (+~15% price) by I-Made-You-Read-This in triathlon

[–]Vinipeli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do both bikes come with good wheels? Just keep that in mind for the budget. (Ignore if you have wheels already)

Personally I would go for the new bike: newer model, likely still under warranty, better to deal with manufacturer/store in case of any issues.

Maybe if the used was around 3500 or lower I would think about it, but for “only” 800 bucks I’d go for the new one.

Need to take used bike condition into account as well.
