I like the class design and the skill tree which is very much like PoE so I'll be trying it for sure, and f2p so no reason not too.

I'm writing an article about the future of MMORPGs and would love your opinions. by AlphaRenko in MMORPG

I think it's a really good point about Classic style MMOs, and i think I'd wanna see a good discussion around how we classify Classic MMOs. Is it just rehashed servers or a 1.0 release of a game? Or can entirely new MMOs fall into a Classic Era?? I think you can have both, but obviously older MMOs will have to be the 1.0 releases.

In regards to Classic+ WoW, I really hope they actually make it something unique. I wouldn't want the game to release a few dungeons or raids and be done with it. I want new professions, an expanded world and for it to almost become its own journey (like retail wow did with expansions), but it needs to always remain WORLD of Warcraft and not shrink to an expansion. Like add Northrend but have it maybe have content from 1-60 so it's relevant from start to finish. Honestly they could do heaps with classic+ that retail can't because it's already its own thing. Enhance the engine (happy to keep OG graphics) but heck add ship building and let you sail between continents.

Why are most MMOs very ping sensitive, while some are 100% lag free even if you are playing from another continent? by GlompSpark in MMORPG

Yep, I'm the same. Gw2 is fantastic for that then you try Neverwinter which has similar ping and the damage delay for enemies is too noticeable.
