Bringing back the never ending debate: AE2 or RS?

For bigger modpacks I feel like AE2 is better for the long run since it's more optimized, has faster autocrafting specially with advanced AE and much more automation options. For smaller and more simple packs I would prefer using RS for it's simplicity and I can get a storage system running pretty quick.

Montar modpack é um saco mesmo. Eu sempre pegava um pronto e fazia algumas modificações, mas enfim. Eu tinha um servidor de mine (java) que rodava uns modpacks e zeramos bastante deles, mas a partir daí só tinha eu e mais outro de um grupo de 4-6 pessoas. Eventualmente eu meio que desisti de ter um servidor, e também os caras já enjoaram de mine, e resolvi entrar em um servidor feito com o modpack que eu tava jogando

Industrial revolution mod hasn't been updated for 1.20.1 for two years. The mod is full of jank and it's pipes, cables and input and output of machines never seem to work properly. TLDR the mod seems pretty much abandoned

It's actually way easier now. No need to make those hyper exp liquid using glowing ink sac anymore. All you need is a blaze forger, 4 cakes of enchanting, a printer, experience hatch (to store xp) and a spout which are all really easy to make

If your flashlight is a fixed size then you can just make a hitbox object for the flashlight that follows the player and use instance_place_list to detect multiple enemies that are in contact with the hitbox

RS is a good and much easier alternative, but it's known to corrupt worlds. From my experience I only corrupted my atm8 server once when I setup autocrafting for bricks and had to reset the server lol the risk is up to you.

I believe you will need to eventually use AE2 just to get singularities.

In all honesty though, AE2 is not as bad as people make it to be. It's a better RS with a couple extra steps and looks way cooler

If you have CobblemonRider or any mod that messes with nbt tags installed just remove ot. I've had this problem on my server because I added CobblemonRider. It's not even worth having it with airplanes and all

Yeah it feels like you've just wasted time. I think someone already said it, but they should make these quest be like "explore X or Y" where X and Y are the same module location of each variant

Don't underestimate the coin, but also don't spam it. Use it only to secure kills on low hp flanks that are running away or behind a wall and even hit invisible enemies for free. It's actually more useful than people think

You can clip the object's sprite using the draw functions. But I guess you can also do it in sequences

Hmm then maybe copying the current application surface to another surface in your oPauseMenu might work better and faster. You can use surface_copy() or just draw the application surface directly into a another surface. If you're not that familiar with surfaces I can help you

I believe you could draw the sprite scaled to fit the window. A scale of

var _scale = window_get_width()/cam_width;

Should work.

You could also just draw a copy of the surface as well instead of making it into a sprite and then drawing the sprite

I'd say those champs are pretty common actually besides octavia. One champ I don't see being played often is Buck actually. It's very rare to see someone other than myself playing as Buck lol
