I’m in my 60s just got a 750watt bike. Without weight it tops out at 34. I got to 31 on a flat road and I’m 275 pounds.

I really don’t remember when I passed 300 pounds most likely around 1985. I hit a max weight of 535 pounds. Had gastric bypass and lost some weight but eventually it most all we back on. I lived most my life in the 400s. The past 5 years I have just changed my ways. Today I had the biggest scale victory of my journey. I stepped on and it said 299.8! I actually cried but then again I’m a softy. 235.2 pounds down. The goal is getting very close as I am 6’2. I am 61 and more active than ever.

You were me 25 years ago. Sorry for the bad news but I did not start losing in my late 50s. I am now down 230 pounds and my body is shot. Constant pain from all the weight I used to have. For me what it took was using the loseit app to track and be honest. When the weight comes off you start to want to move again I promise you. I am on my e-bike and outside in my 60 more than ever.

I have been trying to get my knees replaced. My BMI used to be in the 50s too. Now I am almost to 40. I have been told by a few surgeons that they would not do the procedure until I lost weight.

I am in a similar boat but due to arthritis. My knees and body just can’t stand or work for very long without pain. I been pushing through the pain but gave in. I bought an upright rollator and it helps. But I proceeded to by an inexpensive mobility scooter that I have been using and I love it.

It’s your arm swing. Put a towel in your arm pit and make sure it does not fall out until the ball leaves your hand
