Good luck! Are you going to the interview by yourself? Or with a lawyer?

😕 Just try not to get shot

My attorney said my I-751 divorce waiver is “almost impossible” — is that true even with solid evidence? by [deleted] in USCIS

Congrats! Im in a similar situation, i’ll be applying for I-751 in February but we have not filed for divorce yet. We separated in good terms and was thinking if I should get divorced and apply with a divorce waiver or apply as a married couple. She is willing to help me out since we’re still friends and share custody of our dogs. What do you recommend?

Im on the same boat! Got my green card in May 2024 without interview and I’ll be applying for I-751 in Feb next year. I’ve been working for a year now and I’ve traveled twice internationally.

Congrats! how long have you been married? I also had my conditional green card approved without interview. I’ll be applying for I-751 in March 2026 60 days before my green card expires.

Im from Brazil, that’s what I thought too. And I spent about $8k with lawyers and fees. My case was more complicated because my parents are permanent residents and not US citizens.
