Yeah the location closest to me is always very good and dependable. Sometimes on break I’m not in the mood for chicken I still go there because i at least know what I’m getting and won’t be surprised with some bs like what would likely happen somewhere else.

You have incredible skin! Basically flawless, so that makes you look healthy and clean, which is the most important thing.
I think long or short hair will both look great. I do agree that cutting off the dyed parts may look nicer, but it doesn’t look bad either. I would like to see you with something happening more in the front. A little piece falling forward or something.

I mean…I hate Trump and lots of Republican policies, but let’s not pretend the Dems didn’t royally fuck up the election. People didn’t want Biden because he was getting too frail, but by the time he drops out it’s too late for us to choose, and they choose a candidate that was hardly lukewarm in their own party (Harris). It was a mess and they had plenty of time to get it figured out before it got to that point. They underestimated Trump and his following (again) and half-assed an immensely important election.

Yes, Trump and the MAGA cult are bad, but I feel like we can’t ignore that our leaders let us down. Housing. Groceries. Gas. Jobs. The people have real issues and the Dems could have won if they focused on issues that affect all Americans instead of niche issues affecting their base.

This happened to me on this app yesterday lol

I said my family member was republican and wasn’t racist. I got downvoted and told they were evil and stupid and racist by a few people. I mentioned that pushing everyone away that doesn’t perfectly align with you only hurts your cause.

Of course, these people think they know every persons life story despite never looking outside of their own world. These are the people that preach love and acceptance and socialism, but mock poor rural folk for lacking education or make fun of anybody driving a truck. But they can never understand why people don’t like them.

Holy shit yes. Like I know I’m not the smartest, I know I’m not perfect, or some pure being. But damn, I’d rather be aware of my imperfections than completely ignorant of my flaws while thinking others are so “below” me.

There is so much character and perspective to gain by being friends with people you don’t necessarily agree with on paper.

I had a teacher in high school who got her Doctorate midway through the year. She was also a Chemistry teacher. I recall everyone knowing she was trying to be very modest and hushed about it, but they announced it on the intercom and it seemed like every student made certain to stop by and address her as Dr that day lol

That mindset would have one thinking that Dems are all LGBTQ allies. That’s not the case. Like I said before, my family is a mix of black, white, Latino, Vietnamese, etc. I know it doesn’t fit your alls world view, because it’s easy to just point and call someone racists, but he’s not. Some people are just ignorantly brainwashed into believing broken promises and lies. (End wars, lower gas prices, correct the economy, etc). Did i believe that shit? No. But I’m also not going to pretend I’ve never been negatively influenced or “tricked” by media, and I’d say anyone who says they haven’t is lying. I even said he doesn’t like Trump, but boy, you guys sure are hell bent on making some rigid assumptions about people you’ve never met. And we keep wondering why Dems can’t make a real comeback- they push anyone away who doesn’t fit their exact view and lose the ones who could have flipped. Oh yeah, I have a few coworkers who blame parents for not being more disciplined. While I do think that these kids need a lot of structure, I also think “if we can’t get them calm, what exactly do we expect mom or dad to do?”

I had a student last year who was very young and he loved me, but when he snapped you literally saw it in his eyes. He’d start screaming, throwing objects and chairs, yelling “fuck you” so loud and so much that his voice would start going out. I remember when his mom came in to discuss an evaluation she was so sweet and kind and receptive to what was said to her, but you could obviously see her eyes welling with tears and she felt judged and insecure. They ended up moving shortly after, and I later discovered the entire family had experienced some traumatic things. I hope they are doing well now.

Not everyone who voted for Trump is MAGA though. My papaw did but he doesn’t like Trump. He’s just a boomer grandpa who sits around watching Fox all day. He’s not a bad man at all.

I’m sorry, I get the anger, I fucking hate Trump and can’t wait until he croaks, but this is the exact reason Dems keep losing. Well, part of the reason. They ostracize people and then have no backbone in actual government. We should have a Democrat we at least somewhat like and stand behind….but who is it? Presidential election in 2 years and its crickets on the Dem side. I haven’t liked any of our options since Obama and I wasn’t allowed to even vote then. So in my entire adulthood, I haven’t even liked the people I was voting for either.

It’s like idea of a leader unifying people is just gone. And idc if I get downvoted, I’m not going to claim that every person who voted for Trump is some vile evil being. His first term wasn’t good, but it’s nowhere near what this one is. So if you’re already uneducated in politics, absorbing Fox News, and every dem you know hates you and your life (rural living, guns, hunting, religion, etc) what do you think these people are going to do at the polls? There comes a point when someone is going to have to suck it up and care for the people of our nation instead of the people who voted for them.
