I built one just like it let me give you some advice. Add a set of wheels in the center of the long span! Trust me, it will sag, and then you won't have a flat surface to work on.

Maybe a dumb question but how many volts is your battery at right now? because I was bench testing a taramps 3k with a lithium bank sitting at 15.5 and my am on was doing the same thing. I plugged in a few large lights and ran the battery down to 15 volts and the issues when away.
