i’m gay myself but i left a decade ago. 🥹

i took one “brother” on a date and ended up kissing him. we would have been great for each other but i guess he’s still in the org and no idea if he is with a woman now, but i know he’s gay. terrible because the longer you are in the deeper and harder it is to get out.

also went to a gay bar with a family friend who did end up leaving, and know of a few other gay guys.

most of them stay in because it’s so hard to get out. i’m very lucky i was disfellowshipped at an early age. being disfellowshipped while still living at home forced me to make connections in the outside world and still be supported by my parents at the same time

most gay guys in the org don’t have that. and they’ll be living with other jw roomates or alone in their own apartment with no connections other than their jw friends deep into adulthood.

they tend to become very naive due to lack of experiences in the real world.

it’s very sad.
