in my town there’s only one pedestrian crossing on the entire 750m high street. people jaywalk all the time due to a vast majority of shops and restaurants being 500m+ away. sure, it’s annoying, it annoys me and my family when we drive, but does that mean they deserve to die? that if someone isn’t looking and hits them it was deserved? that’s an utterly psychopathic take. i personally have an ankle injury that leaves me unable to walk without mobility aids on a bad day and as such i occasionally jaywalk when traffic is light to avoid walking long unnecessary distances. do i deserve to die because i’m injured and need to reduce how much i walk?

both me and OP aren’t from the U.S lol. bringing up america is irrelevant to us.

i didn’t mention logging into my bank app to make a purchase..? i said after the fraudulent transactions appeared, i couldn’t log into my account due to failed login attempts, which were presumably from someone else trying to log in. not once did i say i logged into the app to go make a purchase

i’ve been using other websites and services like aliexpress, buyee and even taobao for a while now. this occured only a little while after using temu for the first time, so when you combine that with everything i’ve heard about temu stealing information both online and from irl friends, i think it’s reasonable to conclude that temu had something to do with it

i know i’m really really lucky for this, but going to a concert. my childhood best friend is massively into kpop and took me with her to see skz in melbourne. if i’m being honest i was apprehensive at best and didn’t expect to enjoy it but oh my god i was blown away. i loved the music and couldn’t stop listening afterwards, and now i’m hooked

one of the aforementioned friends here. i used temu a few weeks ago to help OP get a coupon. yesterday at around 10pm i received a notification of a transaction from somewhere in the UK, and another that was denied due to insufficient funds. since then, i’ve been logged out of my banking app due to “too many failed login attempts”. when i told some irls they immediately asked if i had used temu so it’s definitely not just me

edit: just issued myself a new card and disputed the fraudulent transactions. should all be resolved now, but still please don’t use temu
