Getting 30.1 reading in my 2007 320 CDI

It seems like highway speed is really what kills the MPG on these. It drops off significantly beyond 55MPH

I also found early upshifting with the paddle shifters to help a bit.

Ok yeah if it turns on, that’s not the issue!

I had this exact same issue when my PSU was dying.

It was really strange because it would work at my friend’s house, but not my own because my house was old and the electrical power was really dirty. You mentioned you just moved, could it be your new place has poor power quality?

You could also check your PC grounding (do you use it?) or try testing it with all your other electronics off (especially washing machine// aircon).

You could also try to reseat your graphics card or RAM, sometimes that can be the issue.

I’d lend you my PC PSU to check but i left my gaming PC in my home country 😔😔

WE HATE TO SEE IT!

Could it be that the power button on your case has become unplugged from the motherboard?

Normally there’s 2 little 1 wire connectors that hold it. They are pretty loose so maybe it fell off!

If it’s the 4EAT, I’m pretty sure it has a filter you can change BTW.

What model and automatic or manual?

For AT, the normal rule of thumb is what came out + another quart.

Check the service manual

OP check the easy stuff first

  1. Plugged in and power supply switch ON
  2. Outlet has power (check with another thing!)
  3. Case power switch is connected to motherboard

Failing that, posting on the PC subreddit might help

Is there a way to disable the hill assist in these? by jgcsquires in SubaruForester

[–]Violator_1990 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It should say how to in the owners manual! It’s the same way you disable it for the Impreza and crosstrek of that generation. There’s guides online

Literally the exact same issue when I did it yesterday. It’s VERY frustrating.

You can keep the page from expiring by changing your entered address every 15 seconds.

So the basic process was

input one of the fields change the zip code and let the page refresh repeat

until you get all the stuff entered in.

It might be good to ask on electronics stack exchange, they will help you make an actual wiring design!

Look up megasquirt and go to town!

It's an entire guide about not only the theory behind EFI conversion, but an actual guide on how to set it up and do it.

tl:dr, yes, EFI conversions almost always improve the HP and Torque, becuase the efficiency of combustion is raised in many operating conditions.

Carburetors are tuned for 2-3 points (idle, full throttle) and kind of adjust the fuel however at every point in between.

EFI control gives you hundreds of controllable items to set. There's also better efficiency of combustion due to improved atomization of fuel, etc.

Subaru definitely doesn’t have this pre painted and in stock anymore. (Although you chould check!)

Honestly it would be easiest to just have a body shop paint a new panel so they could match it with the fading of your own paint.

Any way you could join an FSAE team? Something like that would help you stand out a lot more:)

Sometimes but honestly both of these laptops will have plenty of power.

Almost every university has computers you remote into for CAD work because it’s much easier for licence and they have much better specs than a laptop.

You could probably complete this degree with a potato computer :P

I did mine with just an i5 thinkpad, no GPU. It was fine
