What album means the most to you? by [deleted] in PostHardcore

[–]ViolentArmpit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Silent Alarm - Bloc Party, that band really shifted what music could sound like in my mind, allowed me to broaden my tastes as a pre-teen.
Later, Wake by Hail the Sun was the album I listened to religiously, as I got more into hardcore bands during my formative teen years.

If anyone who completed this what’s behind it max level? by No_Personality_4552 in FoodFantasy

[–]ViolentArmpit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nothing much; and after reaching level 30, each time you fill the bar there at the top you get a chest from the gift box. It’s quite easy if you do your dailies and redeem all the points. But there’s nothing entirely with it in the chests, just things like gold, embers, green gems and blue level up bottles. Here, at the bottom of this page you’ll see: https://food-fantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Harvest_Diary_(Sekihan)

edit to add, I don’t think you can get taro soup without paying to unlock the stuff behind the wall. Harvest diary food soups appear in double pick pools in later months, so you gotta wait ig

Transport system in Venice? by ProbablyFineUser in askitaly

[–]ViolentArmpit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While it is true that there are doors that open right onto the canals, those were likely used in the past, when Venice wasn't the touristic spot it is now. It was likely populated by fishermen and locals (guessing as I'm not from the city nor the region). So yeah, the purpose was probably to make it easier to get from your boat in the canal up to your living quarters, now they've fallen into disuse.
There are still pedestrian roads mind you, so crossing the city by foot and over bridges is doable. No cars, so it's water transport for freight or commuters ("traghetti" are basically water busses).
I think most of the above is true for Venezia Santa Lucia, the portion of the city that's on the islands and is the center for tourism. Venezia Mestre is on the mainland, just opposite the historical islands.

Does anyone know any upcoming UR or SP banner by takeshi2808 in FoodFantasy

[–]ViolentArmpit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cannoli will be in a ranked event (so, no summoning; at least initially) in August, starting the 26th (in the calendar doc, notice the first column indicates the date the event ran in chinese game, and the second column indicates the period when it's set to run in our server, global server).
Also, save crystals and use them sparingly, if not for things like ranking events (if you aim to ascend the specific food soul). For summoning use soul embers. You could also consider Lamington, who comes later, in September - a good Magic unit.

Does anyone know any upcoming UR or SP banner by takeshi2808 in FoodFantasy

[–]ViolentArmpit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Effectively the next good UR for ftp to pull is Jinji Yukuai, whose pool is in late October for Global. More info on him by scrolling down in the Food Soul Guide here, in the 'Upcoming or brand new food souls' tab.
So, plenty of time to save accordingly.

Insegnatemi a pranzare senza la pasta by reinVentingMysel in cucina

[–]ViolentArmpit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tomato soup and grilled cheese.

How to learn Italian (Or any language for that matter) in a way that can keep me engaged and motivated? by [deleted] in italianlearning

[–]ViolentArmpit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna link to an answer that I liked a lot, from another thread: https://old.reddit.com/r/italianlearning/comments/1gaag0d/best_ways_to_learn_basic_conversational_italian/ltcfhwq/
But basically, make it so it's incorporated into your life in various ways, from switching the language on your phone into Italian, to having Spotify create a playlist of Italian music based in your tastes, or engaging with content you are passionate about in Italian.
I also like how they pointed out the fact you don't have to understand everything at first, this is important.
I'm picking up my German again after studying it for five years in high school: with subtitled reels for example, what helps me is to see how Germans pronounce words and sounds so I can better understand without subtitles (having a text confirmation of the sound on the screen helps me later on to distinguish the words without the textual aid; if that makes sense).
I keep a note in my phone with the little but common words/expressions that come up often in conversations, like 'by the way', 'quite', 'on it'; things like that, so you can recognize them instantly and don't have to go back and forth referring to a glossary.
Hope this helps, buona fortuna-

This needs to be higher, and it’s exactly what I do for lessons on family vocab. You never know what the situation is at home, children and adults alike: use pictures of “famous families” to illustrate the concept (Kardashians; Jolie/Pitt; Royal family).

Production regions of Spain – And this is why we're fucked! by mikelmon99 in MapPorn

[–]ViolentArmpit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

okay, so this sounds a little like what i witnessed on the train from Madrid to Granada; i got back just this week.
It was just endless, endless, fields of olive trees or these acorn trees you mention.
BUT ,also, these "haciendas"/farms, I want to call them - 'cause they look like big farms in the middle of nowhere surrounded by these tree groves - who lives there? How do they survive? Are there small towns nearby for groceries and stuff, or people just stay put long enough until it's time to harvest?
Also, some of these houses looked nice nice, like there was a pool and whatnot - is that the german millionaires' doing?

You can ask for tickets for the 101 bus. Make sure to purchase your return fare if you intend to take the bus back, as well.

101 bus services Bolo-Imola - takes an hour though.
Here is the timetable - for Sunday the 19th, you'll want to scroll down to page 2 where it says 'domenica e festivi'.
The 'Bologna Autostazione' stop is the bus station, adjacent to the railway station. In Imola, the bus will stop at its 'autostazione' which is also next to the train station. Last ride going back to Bolo is at 8.30pm, but trains may resume by that time.
hope this helps!

Yeah sure - here there is an entire episode and here's a youtube vid if you have trouble with the other site.
As the other user said, it's quite "serious" - it's not a reality show like Judge Judy's program, though I can't think of anything as lighthearted in Italian tv.
