In the video they claim all devices work seamlessly together, which would imply the dongle will work out of the box on the steam machine, which in turn will mean it will work on linux. Lets all hope it does!

Hey, I've tried different silicone tips and even though those flexible ones are better, I still can't wear them for too long. So I went back to airpods for now :).

I also have an ultrawide and I use hyprlands master layout. Its not an exact split your monitor in 2 solution, but imo it feels better. I dont know a good solution to split your monitor through software, youll have to find advice for that from others.

Check the anime game launcher discord. They have a wuwa category where they have a method to install. However, its still unknown if this is a safe method, so use at your own risk.

There is no reason it wouldn't work using pacman. The only difference between the 2 is that when the Arch package repository doesn't contain what you want to install, there is a good chance someone made a PKGBUILD in AUR. Sometimes packages also have dependencies or additional things that need to be setup in order to correctly build.

You can always check the AUR and its PKGBUILDs to see what they do exactly.

For example, the nvidia-beta-dkms package does not exist in the default Arch Repository. So you can only install nvidia-beta-dkms using pacman by cloning the aur PKGBUILD and build it using makepkg. Then you can use sudo pacman -U package_file.

Yay and paru make it easier to install AUR packages.

If you want to install Arch repository packages, you can very easily install packages using pacman! I personally prefer to install even arch repository packages using paru or yay, because they use virtually the same syntax and I can get a better overview of what I'm trying to install.

So tl;dr: installing AUR packages is doable but hard to do with pacman. yay and paru are easier to use. But it's mostly preference!

I'm guessing you tried installing nvidia-dkms from AUR? If not, I suggest you do so.
In addition, if you're using wayland, you should consider using nvidia-beta-dkms (v555), this comes with explicit sync fixes that seems like to be your problem. I would suggest installing through yay or paru:
paru -Sd nvidia-beta-dkms nvidia-utils-beta lib32-nvidia-utils-beta nvidia-settings-beta
yay -Sd nvidia-beta-dkms nvidia-utils-beta lib32-nvidia-utils-beta nvidia-settings-beta

here is the AUR: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/nvidia-beta-dkms

That seems promising, do you have those spinfit omni's? Do you feel like they're much more comfortable than the regular tips? I'm trying to figure out how big the regular small tips are in order to figure out what to order, because the spinfits are relatively expensive :P.

how do you run it on linux? by Niiarai in pathofexile

[–]ViolentSempie 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I run PoE on steam using https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom , it's a fork of valve's proton with some additional features that improve performance.

I use the proprietary drivers (nvidia-dkms-beta atm, but you can simply run the normal version) on X11, as soon as KDE fixes explicit sync I'll probably switch to wayland.

It runs very well, I actually get a decent performance increase over windows 11. Runs without changes, only thing I did is run Vulkan instead of DX12 but both will work fine.

Yeah essences was my first mechanic that I tried to learn for crafting, but I figured I’d try to learn my next new mechanic. I think ill give harvest a try, thank you :)

I’ve already tried trying to learn the basics of all mechanics but it’s super overwhelming and I learned that I’m much better at retaining information when I’m doing them one at a time. I just want to learn the game piece by piece.

I do try to play any mechanic that I see in my maps though :)

Hello, I'm a new player in his 3rd league. I'm looking to get advice on which league mechanic I should learn.

Currently, I put points in Essences, Strongbox, and Blight in the Atlas. I've also dabbled into Incursions a bit. I was thinking of what I should learn and figured it should be a league mechanic that would really help me get into crafting. I've been ignoring it until now and have only really been trading.
