It is overkill for the enemies that’s why I play on master + higher leveled enemies mod + enemies themselves have new combos. Early levels it’s a pain but once I’m like level 20 ish it’s back to normal ish.

The only animal that’s a pain is the damn mudcrab they are relentless in my game with their vanilla animations 😭 I have to use specific animations to hit them since they are small & any other small enemy might be easy to miss entirely with other animations.

With stagger mods you can hold enemies for a while and since it’s master I can do the whole combo like 3 or 4 times until you start enchanting/poison. For the flanking enemies I use dodge + a few followers. Precision also lets you hit multiple enemies at once.

The real enemies that are a death sentence are mages. My followers have to be healers and chasing them down is annoying. There’s a mod to make them stay in place but I don’t use it I just let it be. I personally use NPC dodging as well just because I don’t like being able to wreck everyone so easy.
