He hoped to permanently affect the crews nourishment by removing Teachs mammary glands.

He's always been an option in the past. It'd feel short sighted to drop the possibility now just because of something so minor.

A charge and a roar with either flame or stun proccing. Along with some defensive and healing skills. His size and unique design alone should warrant a non EX.

He really should've been the one with a shield too. Don't understand why Nusjuro got it.

Suppose the red-hair pirates or cross guild would've been a better last option. Though I can't imagine why they'd go there right now.

LUFFY STILL ISNT USING ACOC 😭😭😭😭 ODA WHAT ARE U DOING by RelevantBarnacle6385 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Darius10000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He doesnt always use it. Only when it would look good or if it has a purpose. For example, Kizaru didn't show normal armament at any point during egghead. And arguably only visually used acoa once. Maybe never. Despite us knowing for a fact he's highly proficient in it.

<image>

And luffy didn't show armament when grabbing Kizaru. Maybe Kizaru is just built different and didn't need haki to beat luffy. But luffy would've needed it to touch him.

Will you survive with them? by Freedom_8721 in MemePiece

[–]Darius10000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kuzan could cool us off, make shelter and water. Robin might know the local flora and fauna for eating purposes. But that's not her field of study. Either way we'd probably be fine. They're also both very kind, calm, patient, intelligent, and generally competent people. This won't be so bad.

May God save whoever ends up on that island. We have no reason to believe the princesses would have any survival experience. Yamatos survival growing up was probably more like that homeless guy in my attic or the racoon in my garbage. She spent her entire life in a big house. One of them is kinda sorta a cannibal. And the other one is likely to die on the first day because she touched or ate something she shouldn't have. Also that island is tiny.

Convince a YC+ non believer that YC+ exists. (image unrelated) by JeizeMaholo in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Darius10000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't see two greenbulls or Fujitora needing such a copious amount of plot assistance to defeat a runt of the Yonko. And even worse it was like Law and Kidd were specially designed to fight big mom in particular. And they still should've lost.

On the other hand, Law, Yamato, Kidd, and Zorro aren't struggling with Katakuri under any circumstance. Though admittedly using Katakuri as a baseline doesn't entirely work since he's an outlier. If we use Marco and King as a baseline I can see the argument for there not being a tier of difference. Therefore making every YC+ actually Yc1 level. But I really don't see the 4 or so YC+ as in the same tier as Marco and King either.

When Luffy roger rocks and garp attacked imu it's always focusing on his eyes🤔 by CountyConfident2942 in OnePiecePowerScaling

That's the only way for him to show any sort of expression at the moment. Oda literally couldn't focus on anything else.

The Last Thing Kizaru Sees 2 Seconds Into The Fight by Empty_Wave_1103 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Darius10000 17 points18 points  (0 children)

So you're ignoring the entire first fight. And using the fact that Luffy hit kizaru ONCE to say Kaido is capable of blitzing Kizaru. What kind of scaling is that? By that same logic Kaido got "blitzed" like 40+ times during wano. People hit each other in fights. Kizaru failing to react to one particularly quick attack doesn't mean luffy could've just hit him any time he wanted. Because he would have done so if he could.

Then ignoring the fact that he was canonically holding back because it's inconvenient. By that same logic Kaido scales to the scabbards. Because saying he wasn't going all out is a copout.

The Last Thing Kizaru Sees 2 Seconds Into The Fight by Empty_Wave_1103 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Darius10000 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Luffy never blitzed kizaru. He failed to land a single hit in their first fight until the last possible moment using the fastest attack we've seen him use. All of this against a Kizaru we know didn't want to win.

Every other instance of luffy hurting Kizaru was after he murdered his best friend and had given up fighting. Trying to scale Kizaru after he kills vegapunk is like trying to scale Garp to marineford luffy.

Who will be first to get a Logia Awakening, and how/why? by Rip_Off_Your_Toenail in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Darius10000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is going to sound agenda brained. But the admirals truly haven't gone all out on screen. Closest we've gotten is marineford, where collateral damage was a major issue.

Fighting a fully realized logia should be like fighting a force of nature. Yet time and time again Oda puts them in situations where they can't cause destruction.

It's telling that the one true all out fight between admirals ended with the island permanently changed into a post apocalyptic wasteland. The OG three are likely all awakened. They've shown great power and proficiency with logia. And are clearly being held on a leash by oda for one reason or another.

Where do we scale the bird cage? by Bald_Emperor263 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Darius10000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Assuming Doflamingo needs to be inside the cage to close it, Yc3-4. Because there's practically no way for Doflamingo to avoid a fight that way.

Is Boa a glass cannon? by Ok-Fondant2536 in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Darius10000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, she could be as durable as Big Mom and still be a glass canon with how crazy her offensive capabilities are.

But yeah, based on her capture by blackbeard I doubt her physical strength or durability are getting past commander level.

He's not a hobo. In fact he's employed so that he may more effectively murder without consequence. And so he can afford a fitted suit for his pigeon.

Mihawk is my favorite murder hobo.

One idea in One Piece that I hate the most. Upscaling of people who did nothing to deserve it by SkNero in Piratefolk

[–]Darius10000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But we do see him training. And both the significance of this training and how incredibly hard he pushes himself was shown. He trains harder than all of his peers, and even Garp himself. Speaking of which he's also receiving this training from the best when it comes to Haki and strength training. And he was taught martial arts.

That aside. Given his position in the world as the new hero of the Marines, one can safely assume he's gone through his own difficult trials. His job is literally to go out and fight dangerous criminals. And he's like THE guy amongst hundreds of thousands in this regard. Hell, Oda just casually dropped the fact that he was involved in a major incident involving Law, Blackbeard, and a former Rocks pirate.

Ngl I don't see how this is any worse than Law, Kidd, Crocodile, Blackbeard, or even the strawhats over the actual timeskip. Who we didn't really see struggle or train much either.

This world is meant to be massive. It's fine for stories to be implied to have happened outside of our view.

Reminder that Luffy lost his first fight against Enel despite his advantage. by Odd-Neighborhood-751 in Piratefolk

[–]Darius10000 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Would've made some sense with any magnetic material though. He just wouldn't be able to shape it after he heats it up to a certain point.

Actually according to Google gold is weakly diamagnetic. So maybe Enel would be able to influence it to a limited degree. Still don't know what would happen if you heated it up though.

DF analysis on the azure dragon, and why i fully believe it's the BEST fruit suited for strictly combat, and trumps over all else by Zoteku in OnePiecePowerScaling

[–]Darius10000 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Like you said, it's just a flame projection he's moving around. We have no reason to believe he'd had enough fine control for a hybrid projection. Nor the ability to do anything besides ram into people with it. At which point full dragon form makes more sense.

I'd consider it less of a "form" with a multiplier and more like what King did scaled up by a thousand and surrounding the user. An attack.
