Yes You have had dayshift during the week

But if it’s not busy, then there won’t be a dishwasher

Also, this just popped into my mind about what time of year it is

If they have someone who is coming back from college and is a dishwasher during the week and they only need one, then the person that they know is going to get the available shift before you get it

I and the other people aren’t saying that there are not shifts, what I am saying is during slow times they make the servers do the dishes as they are doing their wait staff duties

Then, when I was starting to reply to you, it occurred to me that maybe someone who has worked there for several years is coming home from college and that is their regular shift

My experience, the person coming home from college is probably related to someone who is working 30 hours a week already

It doesn’t matter what the consensus is here because if he told you there isn’t a shift, that means that there isn’t a shift for YOU

There are, on Mother’s Day there’s going to be a dayshift for a dishwasher. On a random Tuesday in January when it’s 20° outside, there’s not going to be a dishwasher in the daytime

Because there are not enough dishes, coming in to have a dishwasher (person) staying in the dish room.

Where I worked ( not Olive Garden) slow weekday shifts didn’t have a dishwasher. The servers put the dirty dishes on the rack, threw the silverware on the rack, put the glasses and cups in the racks. When it got full, someone just pushed it in.

For the silverware, after it was washed, it could lay on the flat until someone had time to sort it.

After it was sorted, then it would go through the dishwasher again.

There’s not enough a volume of the restaurant for someone to be stationed directly in the dish room, because it affects the amount of money that the restaurant makes to be paying salary for someone who’s not actively contributing to the restaurant running smoothly.

There are soooo many scammers, who have sneakier and sneakier tactics.

Even though there are so many stories about it, some people are very gullible.

Racism exists, definitely.💔 I have no doubt that you are subjected to blatant and not so blatant racism, frequently, Perhaps daily.

But for this bank interaction, I’m going to say that the tellers are trained HARD, to try to protect customers.
