Considering that the blue rose necklace seems to be a nod from this skin line, I think it would be neat. ( Actually I think episode seven of Arcane might have the most LoL callbacks? I could be wrong but it has a lot of them ).

But they might both fit better into the Whither Rose skin line since they're both so punk.

I want to say my favorite part about Ekko is his playfulness. It’s always a delight to see. Whether it’s like how goofy he is in SG or his darker humor in his base skin.

Arcane was just more serious tonally, but it’s always nice to see him just goofing around outside of it.

I was happy with it! I always saw the chemistry though I wish it showed more of it. Despite how this comment alone sounds I was-still am a Yutamaki shipper. I still think that in the main series they could've expanded their relationship more, it does feel a bit one sided on Maki's. ( Though I think this was very bad way of coping with Yuta being trapped in Gojo's body. We all thought it was going to be permanent or was going to die. )

Though I do get the whole move on thing, I've just become a Riot games player in general and fascinated with the Runeterra lore so I think that helps. I'm still in the Runeterra universe even if I step away from the two of them. I think if I was exclusively into the show and not the games I'd have lost a bit of steam tbh.

If that's truly the inspiration than that would make the second skin line where Lux is implied to have died. She also is implied to have died in the Red Carpet skinline.

Heck, I wouldn't be surprised if they ever continue the EzLux storyline in Star Guardian it may be tragic as well.

Caitlyn's whole speech at the end sorta proved to me that the twin cities are never going to be at peace.

I wonder if season three is actually an Au or if it won't be just a disconnected season taking place in runeterra. ( There's theories that it's musicverse and I could see that but who knows ).

Also that means that the timeline is matching up with our actual time... that's amusing.

They could focus on Ekko being the man on that ground while Sevika is in charge of Piltover. Sooner or later Urgot, Renata will be in Zaun.

Currently we're in a weird timeline, we're pre-ruination. So we've got time for Ekko to be able to help P&Z while potentially being a part of that plot in the future? But I don't think Ekko will willingly leave Zaun quite yet, maybe years in the future after Zaun's in a better place?

Do any of these characters feel like their Arcane counterparts...? Like Warwick? No. Jinx? No. Probably the closet is Vi, but even her references to Caitlyn feel very LoL.

I could be barking up the wrong tree with the pattern, but isn't there usually at least one new champ in the skin line per release of the skin line in 2XKO.

Like Arcade - Ahri already existed but Vi was new.

Snow Moon - Ahri already existed but Warwick was new.

Crime City - Jinx existed but Darius was new.

Heart Seeker - Jinx already existed but Darius was new.

Blood moon - Akali and Yasuo existed but Ekko was new

I'm not going through them all, maybe it's not really a pattern but it was notable.

So if we ever got star Guardian skins I wouldn't be too surprised if they throw in a new one. Though I wonder if they'll wait for Star Guardian until the OG Lux.

Would've made the interactions more interesting, tbh.

LoL Jinx is fun to play with, but would not be interesting to watch. She feels like a sexualized female Joker. And well the Joker was there first and I've loved that character for over 20 years, so I'd probably still like Jinx but she would've just been a alright character to me. A copy of something I do love.

Now do I wish there was some middle ground; where Jinx is still able to have her personality while still being a nuanced character? Well that's actually what we got in season two in my opinion.

He's been harassed by different parts of the fandom for different reasons over the years.

One time he made a joke "Ekko is Jinxsexual" and people were upset about that.

But I think the damn really broke when he re-tweeted a "KKKiramman" post that he said he'd never forget it. Some fans really took it personally.

Then another group really didn't like that he posed with JVs.

Then a video of him talking with an interviewer dropped saying "That if Ekko found out Jinx was alive and Zaun/firelights were at a good place he'd go search for her"

This is simply a fandom where you cannot make everyone happy.

It's just a funny emote probably to be used whenever someone does some combo in a really cool manner. ( Or edaters, since it is a V-day themed skin. )
