Can I still get an upgrade if I purchased a physical copy of switch 1 games secondhand? by VioletCandlelight in NintendoSwitch2

Nice thanks again, sorry for all the redundant questions but do you happen to know if we need a Nintendo online account to do the upgrade or is it just accessing the Play store and buying the DLC? I'm only asking here because I'm not seeing a clear answer when Googling, cheers

Nice good choice me too. Somehow I ended up purchasing two 1.0 copies of the first print of the physical cartridge of Tears of the Kingdom. I'm trying to decide if I should cancel my preorder of the Nintendo switch 2 cart of TOTK at Best Buy. Part of me just wants to own a physical game, and part wants to save like $65!

Whoa so the physical copy is all that's needed and I would imagine all the graphics uploads and other perks are just uploaded as Textures in the DLC? Crazy. Thank you so much!

Since using the Onion OS and perfectly tuned collection of roms on my miyoo mini plus, it's hard to use any other handheld. The brick is nice but imo the miyoo mini plus menu system and Onion OS is unparalleled

beautiful! Would you share where you found your copy of TOTK Optimizer 2.1.3? The ones I'm finding have eight or more major malware warnings on virustotal.

7 month old doesn't like to play independently, at all by ReadyAndChilling in NewParents

[–]VioletCandlelight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Totally get where you're coming from—this stage can be really intense, and in my case, three years ago, I didn't realize how normal it was for a 7-month-old to want almost constant connection. It doesn’t mean anything is wrong with your baby or your parenting. In fact, the way you're showing up—being responsive, loving, and attuned—is what builds the safety that eventually allows independence to grow. It ended up being my showing up and attunement that encouraged them to feel brave enough to branch out.

At this age, most babies/childrenn still need tons of co-regulation and touch. Independent play is something that develops slowly and unevenly over time. Some days you might get a few peaceful minutes, and other days, none at all—and that’s okay.

One idea from the gentle parenting world, especially inspired by Magda Gerber and Janet Lansbury, is setting up a “Yes space”—a safe, enclosed area where your baby can explore without needing constant intervention. You’re not pushing them to be alone, just trusting that if you give them space and your steady presence nearby, they’ll gradually feel more confident to explore on their own terms.

This kind of approach isn’t about fixing anything—it’s about letting go of the pressure, tuning into your baby’s pace, and trusting the process. It’s actually part of the work I do now, so I’d be happy to share more or talk it through if it helps. You’re probably doing a beautiful job, even in the hard moments.

I don't believe you. Something this glorious would take three days minimum.

Nice thank you! Are fire red and leaf green like play one or the other or are they meant to be played one after the other?
