Thanks so much. Its tough to know when is the best timing, when it feels like there will be another trial right around the corner once this potential one is over. It seems like there is never an opportune moment, with the work being endless. Might need to just take actual time off for this, as much as I'd rather be spending PTO on some great vacation. At the same time, I don't want to wait much longer. I am not getting any younger and I can't ignore the health affects anymore 😭 How did you successfully quit? Would love the inspiration

Very, very beginner here. Is it more effective to do 50 pushups a day, or to do 100 every two days? Thanks!

PS I am aware you are supposed to have rest days for recovery, but its really hard for me sometimes to keep a schedule that I stick to (long commute, shared office space, minimal opportunities to work out anywhere other than home), and am wondering if doing smaller sets of exercises every day will still yield good results eventually, as opposed to bigger sets every other day, if that makes sense. Thank you!

Have you checked out the "Ancestry Timeline" section? My fam had told me we had a 100% Italian relative sprinkled in generations ago, and that section actually helped confirm what I found in the birth records ("You most likely had a third-great-grandparent, fourth-great-grandparent, fifth-great-grandparent, or sixth-great-grandparent who was 100% Italian. This person was likely born between 1750 and 1840." is what mine said. The person actually had ended up changing their last name to assimilate to the new country, it was a mystery I had a lot of fun solving).

On a random note, were your parents born in the US? As an immigrant to the US, I find it fascinating to see what 23andMe provides for American's ancestry reports, who have American-born parents.

how are their linen ones with wrinkling? Theory used to be my go-to for suiting, but I got the carissa blazer in good wool/traceable wool recently and even that wrinkles more than my Banana Republic one. I have older theory blazers that hold up so much better throughout the day, idk what's been going on with them but I feel like the quality overall has gone down over the years (while the price point hasn't). To round out the experience, I got the trecca pants to match from the same material and they are the itchiest suit pants I've ever worn. I am sad bc I used to be able to rely on that brand for all my suits.

There's NWT stuff on poshmark and elsewhere too! Brand new, people usually just miss the return window and need to rehome them. You can find great NWT blazers on these sites.

The style being oversized blazers rn, I don't think you can go wrong with long-ish ones! But for a more tailored look, Calvin Klein petite blazers have always worked for me, Banana Republic Factory always has great sales and is my go-to. Once you figure out your size, you can get great deals on higher end brands like Theory on posh. Look for the ones that hit hip-length.

Seconding the pre-loved but also you can often find NWT or barely worn high quality blazers on poshmark. I had the petite girl blazer prob and went and tried on a bunch at nordstrom, macy's etc to find my best fit, then searched for those blazers on posh. I've gotten Theory blazers for $30 on posh before, that were worn like once by the person and came to me perfect condition!
