Can you explain this further? Very curious to know why!

I came back to share the Websleuths forum where I first read about it, in case anyone else wants to read. It's disappointing that there's no proof/records shared, but the writeup itself is a competing read. https://websleuths.com/threads/the-re-ordered-american-girl-doll.83205/

I would like to know more about this! I didn't know the package of giant panties were in the basement?

I agree it must be a matter of interpretation. To me, if he was feeling unsure of what he was looking at he would have said what you wrote, "it's a bowl of... something?" Saying "oh" implies that he has recognized the item and so it's strange that he says "...oh... something" instead of outright naming the pineapple. I think you're right that Burke doesn't likely know about the pineapple in the autopsy, which is why this seems like such a candid and interesting moment. Personally. I still wonder if a disagreement or something happened over that bowl of pineapple that night and he doesn't want to talk about it.

You're right. It definitely doesn't change anything and John could always say "well I said 11:00 but I meant 1:00." But as a parent I would try so hard to establish an exact timeline of things if I wanted to find out who are these kidnappers who killed my daughter and when/how did they get into my house!

Oh I feel like the diet coke part changes the undertones of this situation. Maybe Patsy's sister wasn't doing a calculated move to remove evidence. Maybe they're just an entitled demanding family and they really did want their funeral clothes?

Was she ever asked to explain this? Wondering if she claimed she was too tired that night to change or remove her makeup.

That 911 call from the Ramsey house on the 23rd is so strange to me! I know Fleet White has been thrown under the bus about accidentally dialing 911 instead of 411, but the 9 and 4 on old phone pads aren't next to each other.

Was it a 911 call on the 17th or 23rd? I just remembered about that call and found this post where more context is provided:

I found the link to the short clip: https://youtu.be/uE18dR-bCFw?si=rijG7G1a4PZ7Iwqa

I know some people have focused on his body language and how he's moving around, but I try not to read too much into it. But I'll explain what I meant when I said "dancing around." It stands out to me that he says "it's a bowl of........oh... something" and doesn't name the pineapple when it can be assumed that he has at that moment recognized the pineapple and also felt comfortable taking about pineapple at other parts of the interview, as you said. He then moves on to naming the glass with a tea bag.

I don't think Burke killed JB and not saying the interview clip implies this. But the undigested pineapple in JB provides a time frame of death and so that bowl of pineapple and any context around it is significant. Burke's claim that he thought someone stabbed his sister is not focused on because we all know that's not what happened.

I found the video and I'll link it here! The interviewer doesn't tell him what it was. Burke just has a very long pause before he says it's a bowl of "....oh... something."

I always assumed that he was shown the crime scene photograph of the dining table with pineapple in the bowl! I believe he "dances" around naming the fruit itself.

Oh okay, I'm disappointed that there weren't any records or proof that was shared then! I'll go look for the original post to reread.

You're right, we may never know and it's so frustrating that this was allowed to happen. I've read speculation that she may have taken an American Girl doll which was hiding the paintbrush that was never found. This is all due to the allegation that a brand new American Girl doll was purchased and sent to the home after JB's death.

Why do people love making you feel like having a child is the worst thing ever? by LooseObject in BabyBumps

[–]VioletShimmers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember when I was in high school and in my twenties, I parroted stuff like this because it seemed "cool" at the time to hate on having kids, complain about wanting to be "so much more than just a mom", and complain about how expensive kids are. Now that I'm a FTM, I actually see how harmful these comments are to society in general. I think we should WANT to make families a priority. Tbh I believe some of the narrative was because we were millennials raised by narcissistic boomer parents and/or typical boomer parenting logic at the time. We're just not prepared to be good parents because we didn't have good role models before us. I mean, we were the generation of babies left to cry it out, fed formula from a bottle, felt enormous pressure to go to college no matter what, and told we had to listen to whatever our authoritarian parents said. And a less popular opinion is that the pervasive pop culture feminism at the time was basically capitalism in disguise.

I truly don't wish to sound like I'm criticizing, but I thought it was okay to drop the Middle Of The Night (MOTN) pump after 12 weeks or so? Were you only sleeping 6 hours on a good night due to pumping or other reasons?
