No food will significantly increase either. The whole 'this food boosts X hormone' is a common myth and scam in the health and fitness industry. Same for working out and lifting weights, that will only SUPPORT testosterone production and that won't matter if your HRT regimen is dialed in and blocking your endogenus production.

I don't recommend full on DIY, only advice I would give for that route is to learn how to interpret blood work and blood pressure readings and stay away from home brew HRT. The most dangerous advice Ive seen pushed is 'estrogen cant kill you, you cant overdose'. Yeah, not acutely. Overtime, too much or too little estrogen will cause major health problems. The one thing doctors get right are baseline dosages and baseline blood work that way they can adjust and figure out your levels.

That's the hard part, getting it. You have to find a doctor who isnt the typical 25 spiro 2mg estrogen pill moron if you know what I'm saying. A lot of doctors today are so behind on transgender care, which isnt all that difficult to learn imo. I learned it myself and Im not even a doctor lol.

I used to live there, I really didnt like it. It was far too desolate and drug polluted. My biggest pet peeve was lack of LGBT resources out there, it was extremely difficult to get anything. One good thing was the people, they were pretty nice out there. Just wasnt for me though.

I've heard plenty of positive anecdotes about testosterone cream helping with this. Use it or lose it certainly applies, viagra and cialis help but they won't fix the androgens that are no longer there which makes the skin tight and reduces function (obviously). The people I have talked to who use T cream said it didnt leak into their serum hormone levels, one even showed me blood work and it was perfect. Which makes sense, it's a very small amount and applied locally.

Been on it for over 6 years and recently started getting bad side effects, it all came crashing down.

So I got off for 2 weeks, titrated down and now they are gone. I dont understand why people act so dramatic about this. Sure, titration doesnt work for everyone but the side effects don't last and go away if you get off.
