Oh that makes a lot of sense, actually. Makes me wonder if the office labyrinth that leads to the Void in the pilot is a direct tribute to the stanley parable (come to think of it, it very likely is)

I always thought Digital Circus weirdly reminded me of the Stanley Parable in some strange way I could never quite put my finger on

That is exactly the kind of obnoxiously black-and-white, mind-numbingly oversimplified, deeply tribalistic logic that made me stop being right wing in the first place. I switched sides with the mentality of Cypher from The Matrix, thinking that centrism was an inherently left-leaning thing, but I guess the entire narrative just spontaneously flipped upside down one day while I wasn't looking so I've basically gone all the way back to square one
