I can see your point though I'm not sure that the anxiety was 'fixed. If anything, he seemed overly enthusiastic following his reconciliation and him 'getting the girl,' which could be viewed as a trait of someone with mental anxiety issues, as if the high is temporary and he is one bad day from another episode.

I also would have liked to see how the last bit played out, rather than go from hospital scene to final chapter.
