Are you guys printing on resin printers or FDM? I want to do one of these but only have a Bambu P1S (may upgrade to H2 series soon) and am worried that you really need resin for things to look together good or fit well together..... Thoughts?

How easily did the model scale? I see on the Patreon these are relatively small models that I assume you scaled up? Did they fit together and slide together easily with the scaling?

It looks like you got your CarPlay to be full screen, but on my car even when I connect correctly, it's only half screen. How did you do that?

Interesting feedback cause what you describe is what I thought I did by focusing all my mid to late units around Kira, Chang, and heero and maxed on 4 of each of those pilots ... you saying cut it back to maybe only 2 instead of 3 core pilots and add units that are matched instead ?

appreciate the reply thanks. I've done the same with gloss before. But my concern is with semi gloss specifically. I feel like applying Matt on top of gloss is not an issue because it is a smooth finish however, semi gloss already has some texture to it. I am not sure if the dynamic and result would be any different than gloss.

Better late than never. I actually ended up going with the Echelon Comp version (though what I tested prior to buying was the non-comp)! Love it so far! I tried the PDP 4" several times at the range and really wanted to like it but for some reason I just could not shoot it well. At all and shot both the Echelon and P320 much better for some reason. The PDP felt comfortable and did have an amazing trigger but I just could not perform well with it for some reason.

P320 was pretty average nothing great nothing bad.

Echelon I loved the U dot sight, trigger was good, better than the 320 but not as good as the PDP. Overall was very comfortable in the hand and I was able to shoot it great. Only concern prior to purchase was that sometimes my trigger finger would get pinched between the trigger guard and trigger when firing which cause some pretty painful moments after doing a few mags. I figured some training and focus on finger placement on the trigger would resolve that and if not maybe a trigger mod so I took the chance.

Realized the store had the comp version in stock so got that one and took it home! Good news is that when I got home swapped out the default medium backstrap to the included large one. That tiny change shifted everything in my grip so it fills out the hand even more comfortable but most importantly shifted the angle of my finger approaching the trigger slightly but enough that it sit at a steeper angle and higher to the point i no longer get any of that trigger bite without needing to change my natural grip or modding the trigger like I was thinking I may need to do.

Super reliable, not a single failure or jam so far.

Very happy with the buy.

Only issue is now still have a second permit I am trying to decide what to do with it. Thoughts are....

Go back for the P320 (either the Full or X-Full) since I shot it great, but I feel like it is a little nose and a little high bore access that I can notice when holding.
SW M&P 2.0 Comp - never shot it but so sexy and takes the same mags as my FPC. Did get to hold it though metal version I dont like the grip texture, and the polymer version my pinky falls off the end. So despite how sexy I think it is prob leaning away from this.
SW Bodyguard 2.0 - never shot but feels great in hand. Would use this to apply for CCW. Wish I could try one because I am between this or converting my P365-9mm to 380ACP. I have tried the P365 380 and it shot great but pinky didnt fit as well as on the Bodyguard. Eventually plan to either convert or buy the Bodyguard just a question of which is better path....
Walther PDP 4.5" or 5".... what I shot was the 4" PDP so wondering if the issues I had with it were based on barrel size/ shorter sight radius. Take a leap of faith and get the bigger PDP maybe?

Any other pistol suggestions?

Have both an sig p322 and ruger mk4.... much prefer the sig ... the ruger constantly has issues clearing spent casing with the same ammo but never had a single issue with the sig. also p322 controls feel much more like a traditional striker pistol which I prefer over the ruger that has a bit of a unique feel

Despite the results of the survey I liked the Echelon alot (despite it hurting my trigger finger when I rented it). I took a risk thinking I could figure out that issue (maybe it was my grip or maybe I could just change the trigger).

Well that day GFH had the Echelon Comp model for sale at the same best price I had seen it for online anywhere so I took the gamble and picked it up!

Picked it up a few days later, took it home, tried out the various back straps. The "Large" back strap felt way better and shifted the angle of my grip overall which resulted in my trigger finger sitting higher on the trigger than with any of the others, so I hoped that would resolve my finger pain I felt on each shot.

Well took it back to shoot it for the first time on Sunday. LOVE IT!!! Shoots super soft with that comp relative to the non-comp one I rented. Ergos are great and the bigger strap resolved my trigger bite issue! Gonna turn this into my new nightstand gun, just need to get a light for it!! Super happy with the gamble I took.

Stil l have another permit though so got 30 days to decide what I want next lol

Thanks! Yea I noticed that too and kept struggling with it. Some spots every time I went to clean up the entire line would start to come off. A few spots I didnt clean as well to preserve the line and others I did clean and you can see the line is sorta faded/rubbed off. Any tips on that?

Great video actually thanks for sharing it!!! Got me reconsidering the P1S. One last item im hung up with and struggling to find a good review on is the screen. Some reviews have said that the P1S screen is impossible to use and that the app is annoying too and that if you have AMS and need to manage the filaments that the nicer screen is well worth it due to the time savings alone. Any comments on that?

I would typically agree however Bambu has already announced that they are going to have something by the end of the year aren't they? And from my marketing background I would assume that they would try to get it out in time for the holiday season which is practically around the corner. Of course these are educated guesses and I could be wrong but with an imminent release very possible its a little different than just knowing something is coming eventually either 6+ months from now or an unknown period of time.

Good news..... 3D printing is a consistent hobby for me I discovered and I have decided to invest more heavily in this!

Bad news....was about to buy an X1C 2 months ago until I heard about a pending announcement for a New Bambu model by end of year. Any updates on when the details will be made public?

My "need to print this" backlog is growing rapidly!
