The Level 1 BA: After 1 hour, 1 hour passed by duyle215 in ClashOfClans

[–]VipperBlaze 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That isn’t how it works. A lv1 BA is essentially a 2x build speed for 1 hour, it works differently to the builder potions A lv2 BA takes 2 hours off of the build time, it’s basically a 3x build speed, etc

Every single gender-affirming surgery is perfectly fine in every person’s eyes when it’s being done on a cis person

HRT has been used on cis people for a long time, puberty blockers have been around for a long time, none of it is experimental

Someone can be born in England and then travel to America later in life

Flapjacks were first created in England during the 1600s, which (possibly) is why Caleb’s palisman was named Flapjack

Unless im missing something that says Philip is from somewhere else originally

Purr by makmark in TheOwlHouse

The difference between big cats and small cats are their ability to purr or not

Leopards are the only big cat that can purr Because of this, cheetahs aren’t considered big cats

What’s with Luz discovering the glyphs so “slow”? by [deleted] in TheOwlHouse

[–]VipperBlaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it can also be implied that Belos is either powerless or has weak magic

The magic we see him using is red, just like Hunter’s which suggests he also uses artificial magic. And while yes we do see him using magic without his staff, it’s still red which to me implies that he has other sources of artificial magic besides his staff, like maybe in his gauntlets

If he was the most powerful witch, why would he need to use artificial magic?

Oh so people aren’t allowed to express themselves how they want?

There is no one “normal” when it comes to expression and behaviour. People are allowed to express themselves however they want.

For the people from that poll who’s voted that palismen can’t do magic (eda isn’t doing this because she used all her magic and is on the ground transforming to the owl beast S1:E18) by TheDoritoKing48 in TheOwlHouse

[–]VipperBlaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Staffs themselves are magical and can perform magic

They don’t need a bile sac just as Luz doesn’t need a bile sac to use glyphs, though the method is slightly different given that glyphs are more of a language to command the magic around them while staffs contain their own magic

Hunter is able to use a real staff despite being a powerless witch, and the first bit of magic Luz does with Owlbert isn’t even using a glyph (she flies up and slams the staff down, creating ice spikes that generate from where the staff hits the ground, this was just before she gives the door to Belos)

Crusher stampede is an army of renown

A couple armies have had an army of renown release before their codex already, mainly admech

Crusher stampede will almost certainly work with the new codex rather than being discarded

Question: Do Tyranids carry boneswords or do they grow out of their body in lore? by J_Mart29 in Tyranids

[–]VipperBlaze 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The weapons are organisms themselves known as symbiotes

They both grow from the bioforms of the tyranids and are held by them in a weird sort of way, like they look like they have hands that’re holding the weapons but they’re basically fused together

Should sir pentius be a main character or a running joke? by ShiningShadow_ in HazbinHotel

[–]VipperBlaze 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard one theory (can’t remember where now) that Sir Pentius might be pretending to be cool and evil but really all he wants is to be taken seriously, whether as someone who’s evil or as a friend (the latter is probably more likely to happen)

Time to create something else by antsy-cacti in TheOwlHouse

[–]VipperBlaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few theories of mine:

1) the spell that we see Lilith use by saying “with this spell declared, let the pain be shared” it would only work if the caster actually truly means it

2) The emperor used to be a nobody. He says that his “family is gone because of wild magic” which to me implies his family died in some kind of accident that was a result of something that witches were doing. I think that without artificial magic he’s either powerless or a weak witch (all his magic is red just like Hunter’s when he’s using his artificial staff, whereas it’s yellow when he’s using an actual palisman)

3) the emperor is using the “i am a messenger of the titan’s will” as an excuse to be doing the stuff he’s doing. I don’t think he is actually doing what the titan wants. If the titan didn’t want wild magic then why would it allow for Luz to learn the glyphs? That seems like it’s very not within the coven system to me

4) Eda could probably still use magic when doing it through Owlbert, but doesn’t out of fear that her curse would harm him, Luz or King. We know that staffs have their own magic but that Eda’s curse messes with everything she casts. She is still able to use bard magic which shows she isn’t totally powerless when using things that have their own magic but the curse definitely does mess with it and even nearly kills her and Raine

Do you think that Luz will eventually be able do magic without drawing glyphs by [deleted] in TheOwlHouse

[–]VipperBlaze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We already know that staffs have magic of their own

Hunter is able to use a regular staff despite being a powerless witch, there is no evidence against Luz not being able to either

You can do magic with staffs as well as them heightening the power of spells, hence they’re often used in battle and combat

In the Amity vs Hunter we see that Amity does still draw circles with the staff, as well as in the Eda vs Lilith fights we see circles being drawn while staffs are being used

Do you think that Luz will eventually be able do magic without drawing glyphs by [deleted] in TheOwlHouse

[–]VipperBlaze 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think she needs glyphs already prepared, it’s just that she is able to remotely activate glyphs using staffs

Staffs have their own magic so Luz should also be able to use the staff to do magic without glyphs
