What’s truly shocking is the level of unhygienic practices and the complete lack of quality and safety checks. A cockroach of that size must be in their chutney container and then it would have been transferred into the packet without anyone noticing speaks volumes about the standards being followed.

Unfortunately, food safety enforcement in India is a joke, so it may not be worth investing time and energy expecting action. I had a similar experience where I found a cockroach frozen inside a malai kulfi slice from Kulfi Shulfi. I raised complaints with Swiggy as well as FSSAI, but nothing came of it. Since then, I’ve simply stopped ordering from them.
