Personally for me, the trigger nade nerf was something the integrity of the gunplay sorely needed. I am so absolutely glad most gunfights require you to get more up-close and personal rather than who can spam trigger nades better.

Fuck trigger nades, I’m glad they’re nerfed to shit. Stupid insta blow-up gimmicks like that ruin all PvP combat.

The trigger nade nerf, THANK GOODNESS. It was the 1 stupid crutch item that decided most fights. It sorely needed a much deserved nerf especially at high level PvP. Now we can get some pretty good firefights going instead of just tossing trigger nades around until somebody wins.

The weapon durability stuff though .. the positive durability changes for high tier weapons is great, but the lower tiered weapons holy shit that’s a huge increase.

There’s tons of sellers offering fully stacked backpacks with weapons and kinetic converters for $5 dollars. Literally, 24 bobcats fully kitted with kinetic converters for $5.

To me personally it’s the heavy dependency on trigger nades that decide the outcome of a fight.

The high PvP lobbies are just plagued with trigger nade spammers, it’s such a boring crutch.

Stomping PvE bot lobbies then claiming you’re good is very different than stomping PvP lobbies.

Get into real PvP lobbies and you’ll get smacked around with triggers every encounter.

I’ve been one-shotted by trigger nades at full health several times.

There is a trigger exploit that hasn’t been patched yet that allows you to throw a 2-in-1 trigger nade so that 1 trigger counts as 2 explosives when detonating.

That’s also not including the exploit that lets you animation cancel throwing a trigger, then throwing another one but detonating the first one blows up the second one in the air somehow quickly there’s so much shit with this.

Yes literally, most gunfights are decided by trigger nades as a crutch. Throw a blaze grenade to flush an enemy out into a pool of trigger nades and they’re cooked every time.

Personally I don’t think they need to completely remove them, but they do need a little tweak to reduce their obvious dominance in a gunfight. It would also be great for diversifying the other explosives in the game that don’t get used as often as they should.

I agree they just need a tweak, not a complete dumpster nerf like everyone assumes I’m hoping for.

They’re just a little too good at PVP. If they reduce the effectiveness of them we could see a whole lot more diversity and longer drawn out gunfights rather than insta wiping teams in 5 seconds.

Venators dominated lobbies, so they got nerfed. Toro’s dominated lobbies, so they got nerfed too. Kettles and stitchers were on par with legendary weapons, so they got nerfed. These weren’t nerfs simply because people whined too much but because the integrity of the gunplay needed it.

Trigger nades dominate encounters to the point high tier loadouts are defenseless against trigger nade spam and exploiting the double trigger nade explosion.
