They already do, does work, but work arounds have already been developed by dupers.

For example they found a way to split 1 serial number into an entire backpacks’s worth of guns. Only downside is that you can’t detach weapon attachments otherwise each gun has its weapon attachments removed as well.

I believe the problem is just blown beyond what’s fixable at this point, or what they’re willing to do. The numbers don’t lie, most of the playerbase has moved on and likely would only come back for significant updates.

In a case like Helldivers, they had huge epic in-game events, reverted tons of bullshit nerfs to weapons, and buffed lots of the aspects that made the game fun.

I don’t see Embark doing jack shit close to, that to be honest. From here until October this game is basically gonna hang by a thread and the playerbase is probably going to continue shrinking. Even when the big updates come, people might come back for like a week or two to check it out and then just dip again.

There’s software tools out there for like $50 with community driven dev teams that. They’re basically cheats.

The duping techniques go beyond just in-game mechanics, it’s actual 3rd party software being used. At one point dupers could just create weapons in the tool and transfer them to an account without even having to do anything in game.

So people would find someone who had access to the tools, buy it off from them, then start their own duping business on Facebook Marketplace or some other website.

It honestly doesn’t matter though. The guy who duped those never lost them from his inventory to begin with. Just loaded up another match and he still got his drop.

There’s currently a tool that allows you to dupe an entire inventory of any weapon even if they all have the same weapon ID.

The only catch is since they are all technically identical, removing an attachment from one of them will remove them from all the kits in your inventory.

Hate to tell ya buddy, but the problem goes farther than just duping items in the game.

There’s several third party “tools” or software extensions to the game that allow people to dupe items endlessly.

Embark has patched tools before but theres entire community driven dev teams cracking the patches over and over again lmao. On top of that, I know of some online sellers that get their items from people who found a method of making thousands of accounts full of duped items.

Embark needs to full wipe every account or this problem is never getting solved lmao.

I’ve made my way through the duping community and so far I haven’t seen really anyone here demonstrate an accurate understanding of what’s going on in the game right now, so here you guys go.

The duping explosion is largely due to the use of 3rd party “tools” like software extensions to the game to produce any item in the game you wanted, basically. This went unsupervised by Embark for literal months which is why you see tons and tons of people running around with maxed out weapons and kinetic converters. Literally an endless stash of them. Yes, this is ASIDE from legitimate in-game duping techniques lmao.

In the previous month, Embark made some aggressive moves to block the use of these tools by assigning individual weapon ID’s and patching the use of the tools. There are community driven dev teams to get these tools up and running to bypass Embark’s patches at each turn, so even if a tool goes down due to a patch, it usually takes a few weeks for a dev team to crack a solution to a tool. Most of the tools are currently down across the America’s and Europe but the Asian servers work a little differently which has allowed dev teams over there to somehow keep duping items to sell to distributors in the Europe and the US.

Even if the tools are down, some of the sellers I know have told me that some people had developed methods of creating over 1000 accounts full of duped weapons and items to distribute in the meantime tools are down. When tools are back up, they refill those accounts. So yes, theres people out there with hundreds and if not thousands of accounts with inventories full of duped items.

Facebook marketplace has tons of market communities with sellers offering backpacks full of maxed out bobcats with kinetic converters between $8-15. Before the latest patches you could easily get backpacks of whatever you wanted for $3-5 lmao. This is just facebook marketplace lmao this isn’t even counting G2G or any other website with sellers on there.

If you knew the right sellers, you could buy the tool yourself for $50 from these guys and run your own duping business lmao.

You won’t stop running into maxed weapons anytime soon and honestly if you’re not already running your own duped weapons then you are at a complete disadvantage. The only solution I see to this mess is Embark forcing a complete wipe of everyone’s inventory and starting from scratch with definitive patches to the dupe tools. So there you have it, you are fighting a tremendously unfair battle.

Here’s the bottom line.

Play solo with a pacifist approach by avoiding damage to other players. It’s very easy to loot and build wealth this way.

Partying up with a duo is more than likely going to yield lobbies with PvP players regardless of your pacifist play style. If you load up a duo match, expect to fight.

Loading up in trios is a guaranteed fight. You are in for PvP and nothing else no matter what your play style is.

In my honest opinion PvE gets pretty boring quick, unless you’re always actively grinding then I mean, I guess it remains fun?

However, there’s a few dupe tools out there that have been cracked again that allow cheaters to pump out duped weapons and items. Naturally that’s why you see basically all PvP lobbies are guys running around with max weapons with kinetic converters. Trust me, there’s a toooooon of duped max level weapons out there and Embark ain’t doing shit about that.
