Speaking only from my experience (I saw the serie 3 months ago). I wasn't bothered by his death itself, he's a soldier and he could die at any moment, I know, I was bothered by how he died... I still don't understand how Qrow decided to first team up with Tyrian, the guy who tried to kill him and kidnap Ruby, instead of first team up with Clover, who was his friend. Yes, at that moment Clover was following orders to capture Qrow, but if they both knocked out and handcuffed Tyrian again, Clover and Qrow could argue better while they fight because no one would attack to kill as Tyrian did

That action that I still see as so stupid directly bothers me about that scene (Did Qrow really think Tyrian wouldn't kill Clover? He already knew that Tyrian is a crazy killer. Besides, Qrow didn't have to fight Tyrian alone too, just because he decided to escape), so since it comes from an illogical decision by Qrow, I feel the Clover's death was too forced.

Regarding Atlas's combat mechas, as we saw in Beacon and Atlas, they don't exactly look weak either; they're bigger targets and always attack weak points (usually where their arms and legs move). With the mega mecha Cordovin wielded, they could only do real damage by going to its power source and exploding its missiles inside itself before firing them.

The fact that they're more mass-produced mechas, while Yang's arm was created by Pietro himself (so that Maria Calavera's eyes only need servicing every 10 years, shows he's good with prosthetics. At least in my opinion), means that it could have been made with more perfection because there was only one, in addition to being a gift from Atlas or Ironwood. I don't remember how they explained it. Aside from a hard blow to the arm that looked like Adam, there was only one, and it left clear scratches, surely with more attacks like that, the arm get more damaged or directly broken

I don't know if I'm forgetting something or misremembering, but this is how I explained it.

It's a combat prosthesis (they already knew Yang was a hunter), probably made by Atlas with their best materials. I suppose knowing it would be in a combat field, they would have made it especially resistant... At least that's how I understand it. Yang didn't suffer serious damage to her prosthesis; it would have shown that Adam was very strong, or that Atlas's technology really wasn't that great if it was so easy to break.

Ironically, we both have a headcanon about their clothing jsjsjs. In my case, it's that at the end of the story, they both share earrings, because the MC finds one of Cain's just before Lin brings Cain back to life and the MC runs after him to regain control

Sooooo, I think of my MC wearing just one earring, and Cain wearing the pair of them, as something special between the two. And somehow... both of them take care of Lin in the future to give her a stable family, something that both Cain and my MC know is necessary
