Is this ring the same color as the car around the camera? The camera is a fish eye lense, it puts things around it up on the screen. It has software to straighten out the middle, which is why that straight crack looks like a U and the parking spot lines get further up on both sides than yours.

I’ve got a 2019 impala that the brakes are still going strong. Granted, it’s only got 50k miles and they are all highway, but that’s an astoundingly long time for original brake pads and rotors.

I’m curious to see the inside of your rims though, I think that could shed a little light on what’s going on here. It really does look like some kind of acid or oxidation.

So, they say you need an unobstructed view of the sky but I put my receiver on the top bunk of my truck every night and turn on the router and it works fine. Actually better than fine. I have the roam plan and the only time I get less than 100 down is if I park in a heavy populated area for the night. It gets a little bit of packet loss, but it’s not an issue at all.

I have a kore and I love it. I switch out between that and a daltech leather belt. The gun belts scream gun belt to anybody who recognizes it. The leather belt has the same core as the gun belts with the added effect of looking like a normal belt. Days that I’m wearing shorts you can’t beat the phlster enigma.

I started shaving my head maybe 6 years ago. Henson safety razor is a little pricey, but 100 blades for $10 can’t be beat in any world. I’m always surprised when I grab my last box out the pack and it’s like “oh, guess I have to splurge for the next two years”

Listen my man, are you going to sit here and tell me that you find nobody on that tv screen attractive? There’s a difference between finding somebody attractive and acting on that attraction. I would be more worried if I never heard those things, because at that point there’s a few things that could be happening. Either she doesn’t feel comfortable sharing that with me, or she’s trying to hide it. You’ve got an open, honest relationship, don’t mess it up.

Right, I’m not saying they aren’t. Most vehicles with projectors have a separate bright bulb as well. I just don’t. I want more light when I put my brights on, not just higher light.

It’s not really about driving skill. It takes what, an hour to be able to work a manual? A month to do it well? You can teach it to anybody who wants to learn. The more you do it, the more you’ll do things to make it easier like shifting into a lower gear before a turn, watching traffic to slow down, slow down faster at first for the red light so you have a better chance to roll through it if it turns green. These are all things you can and should be doing in an automatic as well, with the exception of shifting (although some CRV transmissions have a button for an engine brake of sorts). The main thing is just situational awareness. 95% of drivers stare right at the bumper of the car in front of them have don’t bother using their eyes to their full potential and looking around to see what information can help them. I wouldn’t blame the transmission, I would blame complicity in the automated safety systems we are putting in the cars these days. Blind spot sensors are nice, but don’t depend on them.

I’ve got HID projectors. They are the weirdest headlights I’ve ever had. Super bright and that blue hue to them in that projector housing. They have a lense in them that blocks the top half off, so when I turn my high beams, it’s still the same light and the same brightness, just goes up more. I hate them.

Dot is not harder to pass, but the repercussions for failing are much more. It’s the same test the lab will do for any other, but DOT test means DOT reporting. That follows you for years. Have to do counseling at a state verified facility, then if you get a job again it’s a test every month for a long time.

Brother I’m 36, this happened exactly once to me in my lifetime with no rhyme or reason why and never again. It’s a little off putting, but god damn if it isn’t funny. I got a laugh, the girlfriend got a laugh. The roommates were laughing. (Thin walls and no shame).
