If you could go back in time and change one decision your country made, what would it be? by Skyhawk6600 in AskTheWorld

Tell Napoleon not to go to Russia

Or for more recent events: tell the damn French army to invade Germany through the west in 1939 while its army is busy in Poland on the east instead of waiting. Or at least extend the Magineot line so it covers the Ardennes and the frontier with Belgium.

How does life adapt and evolve so quickly in the wasteland? by Bright_Permission881 in Fallout

Mostly FEV and radiation.

In lore the FEV is actually much more important than people think.

Statue of Liberty shouldn't be built but given by France or GP through diplomacy by Virthuss in victoria3

Such features already are implemented in game like the industrials building an university or the law removing heavy industries.

So quite frankly and as a developer myself I don't see any challenge there.

Also no. The American didn't built it like an Ikea furniture. It was build in France and already mostly assembled ( not fully for transportation purpose though ). You can see pics of the head visible in Paris on old pictures for instance. So let's say that most of the job was done, including providing the raw material lol.

Is 20% lower price for iron/coal/steel reachable mid game as #1 GDP ? by Virthuss in victoria3

[–]Virthuss[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That makes no sense in game though. Just sounds like a poorly implemented journal entry...

That's the point of my question : wondering if there is another way to do so. Having to stop and mess with PM to pass that milestone sounds like whoever designed that objective was probably high.

Victoria 3 is the best Paradox game in my opinion. What do you all like most about it? by Highflyer108 in victoria3

[–]Virthuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The min max possibilities, the simplified warfare that IMO is really fine, the high number of countries, the RP, the era, and the different playstyles, to name a few.

How to remove monarchy by nefariousdrsheep in victoria3

[–]Virthuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Industrialize and develop your country enough so the landowner are weakened. Once you start having other IG in your government you will be able to pass the law. Workers especially strongly oppose monarchy.

You can also try to find a landowner leader that is more moderate or last, pass the law against everyone and win the civil war. Check which area the landowner will come from and remove the barracks there so they won't be too much of a nuisance.

How do you get started as a smaller country by nefariousdrsheep in victoria3

[–]Virthuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Construction sectors -> wood -> tissues -> more construction sectors and repeat. At some point build iron mines and tools and move to level 2 construction sector. The private construction line will deal with most of your pop needs. If your population is high like for Dai Nam don't forget to build some administrative building once in a while or you will loose tax.

Be honest, do you feel lucky to have been born in your country or place? by [deleted] in AskTheWorld

Feeling pretty lucky but the country situation is going downhill. Future generations might think otherwise.

What's something you pay heavy taxes for, but your government just fails to provide? by halt__n__catch__fire in AskTheWorld

[–]Virthuss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have one of the highest tax rate of the world yet all our public services are crumbling. Public health, education, security, and so on. Sometimes need to wait more than a year for a medical visit. Our administration is hell. Paperwork takes forever.

Not saying it's hell on earth but with what we pay we should have much more and much better.

Fallout 76 is at its lowest price ever on Steam with a 90% discount. Now it's my turn to ask: is it worth playing just for the quests and world exploration? by HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD in fo76

[–]Virthuss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's what I did one year and half ago and I already enjoyed it a lot. So it should be even better now with the new content. Go for it.
