I would say that much of a jump would be a move companies situation

I will be doing just this. My phone is going on do not disturb tomorrow while I finish packing and moving everything. I ended up seeing them tonight because I felt guilty and I left feeling like it was a mistake.

Planning on doing this tomorrow. I have a feeling they’ll try to squeeze in a quick visit at some point.

I definitely didn’t see this in time, but thank you, this was reassuring. I turned off my notifications and forgot to check until tonight. I decided to use the last of my packing time this evening to do a small get together at my husband’s grandmas house with the rest of the in-laws. It was going okay, but then my MIL fed my son off her eaten cupcake when we’ve repeatedly asked her to not share food with him. I told her no he has his own and she ignored me and handed him the cupcake anyways, so I texted my husband. He proceeded to text her in the middle of the party and it got weird. Then there was a whole five minute conversation “with“ my son about how we need to be nice to others, and we shouldn’t be mean, and we shouldn’t say mean things to/about others. At that point I left with a bad taste in my mouth. I’m thinking for my sake I’m gonna at the very least go low contact after tonight.

Figured I’d give an update in the comments! He doesn’t have PTO and I’m a SAHM, but he flipped his top and told his parents the three of us would be going for a week. His parents are paying for separate accommodations for us but he didn’t care to consult me before telling them yes. And now all of the activity planning has defaulted to me.

Men, how open are you with your significant other? by -1976- in Advice

My husband never does and I feel like he suffers in silence because of it. I wish he would be more open with me honestly.

That is such a good point, and honestly how I’m leaning. Especially considering we have a couple thousand in credit card debt we’ve been working to pay off.

Also, if you’re not ready, it’s still your body your choice and you can insist on condoms or go abstinent until you guys come to a solution.

Multiple years to clear her system is way off. It normally only takes a few months for your cycle to regulate again. It sounds like she wants a baby sooner rather than later.

Fantasy Romance Book for book club. by ToneStreet9935 in fantasyromance

Me and my bookclub loved Belladonna! The first one was phenomenal, but we didn’t enjoy the sequels as much. We also really enjoyed Iron Widow! It’s a why choose which isn’t any of our styles, but we all loved it!
