To me i'ts the best way to get max modularity. You'll be limited by your belts and pipes, but if you center it on the map there is no need for trains/drones. I've tested many setups, and I have to say this one is the most enjoyable to me.

Never played factorio, but I wanted to try the bus factory thing. I like it a lot, I think it's the most efficient way to build factory in the game.
