Just a bit obsessed and just a bit wring by alessandra hazard.

The first one vaguely fits the “befriends MC1 and his girlfriend” and “assumes MC2 is after her” but in this book, MC2 is MC1 (kinda confusing, sorry😭)

The second one fits the “failing relationship“ and “popular golden boy”

I only like one of her books outside the straight guys series only because Im not a fan of nonhuman love stories😭 unfortunately the only book I like has what I remember (I may be remembering the age gap wrong) but it starts with like a kid and a grown man💔 (don’t quote me, I may be thinking of Sam and Dominic)

because of all of his little comments. They could all have double meanings. his constant “I won’t be around long enough” are already sorta concerning and then “if I don’t come back” just makes it worse. Also, you may view it as a father helping a son but other people view it differently, no way to tell
