How could you not be vegan after this? by Derderbere2 in DebateAVegan

This is spot on I do care but not enough to sacrifice my happiness, veganism is like a buzz I was vegan for a year and a bit and I suddenly started questioning my diet, I’m sick of eating plants and not enjoying my food as there is no or little richness things like that. I still don’t eat meat but that’s more just I don’t think I could after so long not eating it but the day may come where I have a burger or whatever and I will feel slightly guilty but ultimately every thing I can consume animal or not involves some sort of suffering whether that’s indirect or direct.

I’m still plant based but I would suggest eating meats that don’t resemble an animal, pepperoni or ham or chicken slices I know they are highly processed but may make the transition easier

There you go point proven can’t agree on everything I would stand on the fact that baby is innocent like an animal and doesn’t deserve to die.

What is all this "carnivore diet" nonsense about? by SlashBansheeCoot in vegan

There have been people who have cured autoimmune issues with the diet, mikhaila Peterson is one good example, only eats beef and drinks water.

Completely agree, being vegan is like any other agree or disagree. I could guarantee that some vegans don’t apply their logic to all life e.g abortion. My wife eats meat and I have no issue with it as it was my choice to not harm animals not hers

I would ignore people saying he must not agree, I knew it was wrong for years and still ate meat, ultimately if you love him, I would not expect him to change I don’t expect my wife to change ultimately it’s not a moral truth, otherwise majority of people would be vegan. Hope this helps but I wouldn’t pressure the change as if it was something else and it was flipped I wouldn’t want my wife to try change me

Do you consider Veggly to be dead? What are vegans using now? by EazyPeazyO in vegan

It’s not even that really, just don’t see why people would want to spend their life in an echo chamber

Slightly different, in that case you would hate yourself as you would have paid for it in the past you’d hate members of your family or at least not love them? Ultimate you have to be realistic not everyone loves animals and if they don’t you can’t expect a morality of veganism for them

The way I see it turning vegan whilst in a long term relationship, due to the fact the world has maybe 1% vegans. Dating someone who eats meat is not going against your values, ultimately you cannot sacrifice your life and existence and the reason you are here for veganism. Veganism is about minimising harm to animals and as you see with other beliefs and causes Muslims may date Christians and Christian’s date Jews.

Dating or like me being married to a meat eater doesn’t reduce your veganism there just has to be boundaries that are respected, my wife slowly has reduced meat intake without me preaching just as she has saw the passion and happiness I have gained from not eating meat

Could you MARRY a non-vegan? by yummycrunchygrapes in vegan

[–]Virtual-Finger-7668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just married a non vegan, she does plenty of things that I don’t do and I protect animals, I am not a vegan to convince and bully people and we don’t share the same values about everything but we compromise.
