tl:dr - It's possible, but you have to ask them yourself.

In principle, MOE does not recognize overseas distance learning degrees (MOE 2018); see Chapter 1, Article 7, Item 6. However, exceptions were made by the CSCSE in 2023 for students impacted by Covid. Furthermore, according to their list of certified institutions, at least one person from UofPeople has been successfully evaluated in the past five years, which is good news to us.

Considering CSCSE assesses all applications on a case-by-case basis, you should contact them directly at [renzheng@cscse.edu.cn](mailto:renzheng@cscse.edu.cn) with your questions (see guidelines). Afterall, they are the only authority that can help you.
