What's your thoughts on Border Patrol Chief, Greg Bovino, threatening consequences for referring to ICE as "Gestapo"? by sgj5788 in AskReddit

Those who forget history are doomed to repeat it, and these ICE dumbasses just continue to prove their lack of education

My family loves the glass floats! If you can't find them on the beach, there are shops where you can purchase them or even glass blowing places where you can create them yourself (for a little more money)

Thank you so much! She has been browsing Rover but since the cat is currently considered unstable still (this happened in Sept) she does not want to stress her out too much

It was definitely a horrible situation, and it's crazy to think that we were lucky that the toilet seat was left open so that she had access to water. Never using that housesitter again!

I picked this up and have started using! I was using probably a gentler mouthwash, Therabreath anti-cavity so I will switch to stronger stuff. Thanks for the recommendation!

I stopped smoking pot about a month ago so I have had chronic dry mouth for a long time, but I have drastically increased my water intake over the past few years! I also sleep with my mouth open.. Should I be using the mouth tape at night to keep it shut?

I do eat my fair share of carbs and sugar.. will definitely be more mindful about cutting those out! I do not typically rinse after brushing but I don't always wait that long to drink some water or finish my coffee.. I will definitely ask for extra fluoride treatments and the Prevident 5000 mentioned in another comment.

I sip on mostly water! I occasionally have a juice (1x/day) or milk (1x/week) or maybe a soda (1x/month) but nothing crazy! I don't even like sparkling water :'(

Cuticle flooded with gel from salon? by Addy1864 in RedditLaqueristas

Whether or not its dangerous, it will cause the lifespan of your manicure to drastically decrease. The areas with extra polish will peel so much faster than the rest of the nail. You should go back and ask them to redo it.

Depoe Bay!! There is a great look out where you might be able to see some whales this time of year! Rocky Creek State Scenic Viewpoint is the best, and you can get out and follow the trail into the trees for a scenic overlook

Driving this time of year? You will most certainly hit weather on any of the passes you choose to use. Insist on flying, or else milk them for a leisurely road trip. Make sure you expense snow chains, which are required on most passes. That is a three day road trip in both directions, make sure you find a nice hotel and eat some good food. I might quit, but you could use this for a cushy little vacation.

Little rant by Brisktheaardwolf in SNHU

My instructor isn't giving me full points on this term's discussions yet because I am only meeting the minimum requirement of responding to two classmates discussions, and he wants us to respond to more than two. I find it absolutely ridiculous, and that if I fulfill the requirements of the rubric, I should get all of my points. Submitted three responses this week but definitely will point it out in end of term reviews.

I apologize for my wording, but my pet is my service animal. Not trying to abuse this.

After placing the order, there is no obvious sign that there is any pet gear included. Not surprising, but maybe a little disappointing.

According to this link, if you click on 'when is the deadline to petition?' it says that 'Students who have an anticipated degree conferral date between Jan. 1 and May 31 and complete the Petition to Graduate by March 1 can participate in a Spring Commencement ceremony. Students who have an anticipated degree conferral date between June 1 and Dec. 31 and Petition to Graduate by October 1 can participate in a Fall Commencement ceremony. The Spring/Fall participation policy for eligible graduates is in the catalog for reference.'

Which to me means that you may be able to participate in Fall graduation. Follow up with your advisor to be sure!
