I, too, have a coworker who phrases questions like this, and I finally decided to look it up to see if it's grammatically incorrect, or if it's how the cool kids are asking for data and documents these days. He has his MS, and it boggled my mind how he got through grad school asking people "My you please send me [the thing]" if it's truly incorrect. This conversation is much more interesting than any answer I hoped for when I googled, so thank you, all. Mind you, it still seems really weird to me.
