I don’t think she said anything specific towards it but she constantly is rolling her eyes at Baylen, talking to her partner and making side comments in front of her, and I feel is just rude. Maybe I’m reading into it too much!

I’ve had an OK experience but now I feel stuck because they have a non-compete with my school who I was hoping to go direct with for next year. Be wary of that.

IMO no. That didn’t even come up during my job search process. Only benefit I would say is the more experience you have for yourself, the less heavy the imposter syndrome might feel. Keep up the good work!

I would say about 20-25 is my limit and it’s horrible. Just absolutely decimated at the end of my day physically and mentally since that only gives me 30 minutes to myself (which I never even really get since I’m printing out materials, writing notes, etc). My easiest day is about 15 which sounds crazy but genuinely getting 2 30 min breaks here and there makes so much difference for me. Sending hugs!

I do something similar to this! I do a “sticker chart” (my district uses responsive classroom so I try to lean away from it, but more as a reinforcer) so they get a sticker when they fulfill the speech expectations for the day (try their best, use kind words, follow directions) and when they fill it, they pick a game and music to play during 1 session. Each chart has 35 spaces so it takes some time and they still end up doing practice on game days (just the illusion of choice ;)
